Has anyone seen the movie "The Others" (with Nicole Kidman) in theatres? I'm thinking about getting it when it comes to DVD but I'd like to know your thoughts. =)

I think you either love it or hate it. I loved it. It is very depressing so don't watch it if you are feeling low. You have to see it for yourself and make a judgement. Knowing what we do about the spirit world (not much really) you could see this possibly happening. ;-)

woohoo! Almost 1 year later, I've watched "The Others" on DVD! [Laughing] I liked it - it's got a wicked twist of an ending and really makes you think, what if?

Interesting thought that 'older' ghosts help the 'newer' ghosts understand & accept that they're dead. And to that extent, depicts the newly deceased (tragically) being in denial that they're dead and still roaming their house! [Eek! 2]

The Others is worth buying. I love the concept of the living "haunting" the dead.

I just picked it up and saw it. Good flick. One of the best acting jobs I've seen Nicole Kidman do. Clever movie.

Part of me was hoping for a happier ending but it was still a good flick to watch anyway. Good'n spooky.
