We have just seen the movie "chocolat" for the second time. Oh my it is so magical!!!

it's about a woman who opens up a small chocolate shop in a small and very uptight town in France pretty much run by this moralistic uptight count.

the woman is descended from a french father and a central american woman wanderer who roamed the world giving cacao cures...........and that's all I am gonna give ya! it's is magical- the soundtrack is cool- including jango rinehart gypsy jazz- and Ladies.........johnny depp plays an irish river gypsy/pirate sort of character...........oooohhh he sure undone me.................I loves gypsy wanderers!!!
it's a spiritual feely good film- well worth the time but a warning- do have some good chocolate while watching- you will go crazy with cravings!!

I saw the previews for this movie. It looked really good. I missed it the other night but I will certainly watch it the next time it is on (which will probably be alot knowing cable). thanks for the thumbs up.

I just saw the movie yesterday. It was great. I really enjoyed. Juliet Binoche was excellent as well as all of the other players. I was surprised to see Johnny Depp in it with an Irish accent.
I couldn't tell if it was him really playing the guitar but if it was he was goood. There was some good blues riffs in there.
After seeing that movie I had the strongest urge to go out and buy some chocolates from a chocolatier. But it is lent and I don't want to go to hell. :no: :no: (just kidding).
