Hey All!!

I haven't been on the board for a few weeks (I have been lurking though).

Hope everyone is well. I had something that happned today and just HAD to share it.

I'm not sure if I told you all how I got my new kitty and how he got his name but, Budha, my new kitty has had his first paranormal experience.

I live with my boyfriend and he has ghosties. Well, we have them on film (And KellKell, if I can e-mail it to you so you can post them for me that would be great). Anyway, we hadn't been up very long and I had just gave Budha his breakfast and we were sitting on the couch drinking coffee and watching the weather channel when my beau said, "It's here". The beau can feel one of the ghosties when it is here. All of a sudden Budha-Butt jumps up in the middle of the living room floor like someone had scared the living doo-doo out of him. He starts running around the house like CRAZY!! It was really hilarious! But we figured out "something" was after him. He ran around the house about 3 times. Each time he came back to the living room we noticed that he would jump on top of the chair and look at the ceiling and follow something with his eyes and then it would look like something would scare him again and he would take off again. I mean you could actually tell this cat was SCARED! Finally he came back to the chair and this cat was visibly panting!

My boyfriend said, "I told IT was here and he is chasing Budha-Butt". I then felt bad for my kitty but, if you could have seen this cat going 90 miles an hour around the house you would have to laugh. My boyfriend grabbed Budha and said, you leave him alone!!!! And then Budha was ok.

This "ghost" has been in this house for a while. We did a clensing and a blessing on the house. It continues to stay but does not bother us anymore, until today and it was Budha that was the poor victim.

Gotta run for now but just had to share!!

Take care,

Wow that was scary, at least for Buddah. Does your Boyfriend have any idea on who the ghost is? Human or animal? Male or female? Animals are very sensitive to these things. I am not suprized that Buddah can see it.

Poor Budha-Butt! I wonder what the ghostie was doing that scared him so. I guess it could be that since he's so young the ghost's presence scared him. Do you know anything else about the ghost or the house?

Yes, please email the pics and I will post them for you. =)

Little Buddha may have been just playing. I've noticed with my cats they engage in play that looks awfully serious but it's not. And that panting may be just him trying to get a taste of the ghost. All mammals and reptiles can taste with their tongue (which I know from experience yesterday when I visited my orthodontist, I could taste his bad breath on my tongue while he was working on my braces). I've noticed when my cats are intent on something they will open there mouth and draw air through their mouth to get the scent on their tongue. It's just a possibility. Maybe Buddha is not being harrassed but having kitty fun.

I had a cat that once was "talking" to me in the kitchen when he looked up from my face to the ceiling, his eyes went huge, his ears went flat, and he bolted out of the kitchen and up the stairs quicker than lightening. The thing is we have much activity in our kitchen, just haven't figured out what yet. If anyone has read my posts from GS, I am the one who last week came home to find a small pile of sand....yup sand on my rug. I am sending it to Jim for his gang to check out. My other cat Spooky is seemingly being chased quite often, and it is usually her running out of the kitchen. Geez my cooking is not that bad honest!

I have seen my cats do some strange things when my casper is in the room. They have jumped straight up in the air and took off running like their buts are on fire.I have also seen them sit and stare.I have three old dogs and my oldest dog Teddy will set in the dinning room and bark at him in the living room.He is too old to do anything else. When he first started doing this I thought he was loosing his mind then I relised what he was barking at. Hi all!

I just sent the pic of our ghost to KellKell to post here on the board.

My boyfriend says that his ghost has been with him since he was a kid and I have a little boy spirit (Michael) that follows me along with my oter kitty's that have passed away. Also my kitty Shiloh passed away here in this house on Christmas morning (2001). It could be that Buddha-Butt was just playing but since my boyfriend had just said not 2 minutes earlier that the ghost was here and then Buddha starting acting like a pshyco cat I blamed it on one of the ghosts.

Take care,
