Hello Cindy! Welcome! I'm so glad you decided to join us! I've seen you over on GS, but I don't think we've had an opportunity to talk much. I look forward to your posts! =)

If you want a custom title under your name, just let me know and I'll take care of it. =)

Thanks for the warm welcome everyone. I recognize some of the names here from over at GS too. I knew anyone attached to GS had to be a great bunch of people.

I believe SunDog asked whereabouts I lived in Ohio. I was born in Barberton, partly grew up in Akron, spent my teens in Brimfield, and now reside in Kent...whew!

KellKell I LOVE cats if you could find something for me and thanks!

Miranda is apparently not a very nice person because she apparently misses all the introductions and forgets to say welcome, so please forgive me and welcome to the board. This is a nice bunch, they even overlook me and my bizarreness and rantings =) It's nice to see another Ohioan on the board also. Now if just someone was from the southern part too.

Cindy, sure I can find a cat picture for your signature - which kind though, big cats (i.e. tiger) or domesticated kitty cat? =)

As for a title, see where it says "new spirit" under your name on the posts? I was just wondering if you wanted a custom title there (something other than 'new spirit'). =)

Hi Cindy! I know where you are!! I know kent. In my family we either go to Akron university or Kent State.Ya know- Joe Walsh bought me a drink ar "mother's junction" a long time ago. Are you going to school there? good fine arts program! My nephew is returning home from a career that AOL basically bought out from under him- he's a muckety muck for mapquest and does a lot of atlas books and other maps for national geographic. he is going to study to be a pilot at kent State. I dont know what the degree is called.
We are all sorta freaked about this but he always wanted to do this and with AOL in the mix it is a good time.

since you came over from ghost study I'll tell ya about a haunted place in Akron the you can go to- It's the Hower House on the campus of Akron U. It's an old spooky and huge victorian that I think has university ofices in it now. They used to give tours and may still. The tour guides are always running into the dour Mrs. Hower. not a pleasant ghost at all.

Hale Farm out in the cuyahoga valley is another good spot. My friend got pushed right down in one of the old houses that they had brought in to put in the little village there.

zoar village- down 77 a piece near Dover is another goody and a lovely day trip into history.

I have lived all over- West Virginia, california, north Carolina and peramanently in florida. for years I lived in St. Augustine- the oldest continuously occupied european settlement and also it right up there with new orleans as the most haunted city in America. and It is all they say it is. OOOOOOHHHH!!!! If you dont believe in the afterlife- just live in St. Augustine for a while- you will.

KellKell,

I like domestic kitties. In honor of my cat Socks that we lost recently, it would be great if you could find a gray and white cat, but I also LOVE Calico cats.

Hmm I would like the title "ghost magnet" if it has not been taken =) Thanks! You guys are so sweet.

Sundog,

No I am not attending Kent State. I did go for 18 months to medical assistant school in Akron, but am considering going to college for my LPN. Thanks for the info on the haunted places. I definately would love to check some of these out!

KellKell,

Socks was mostly gray with a white nose and four white feet and of course drop dead gorgeous.

Short hair or long hair? Breed? I have a lot of cat pics to choose from. ;-) The socks (OMG - no way did I almost make a typo =O ) part may narrow it down though.
