It has been a long time since I was able to post anything, but I thought I would let everyone know that we had some exciting activity a few months back. For anyone new, I live in a house built in the 1920's that has had some periodic ghostly activity. Anyway, about a month ago, my sister was at my door about to drop off my 3 year old nephew, whom I keep sometimes. It was about 7 a.m., and fairly light outside. When I ran to unlock the door, she was holding Caleb and looking quite alarmed. Caleb squirmed out of her arms, and looked toward the dining room and very confusedly asked, "Where did she go? Where is that lady?" His mother then told me that when they came to the door, she clearly saw a small, elderly woman in a housecoat, sitting hunched over on my sofa, through the glass panels on my door. She rang the bell, wondering if I had a neighbor over to visit. The woman jumped up, startled, and ran toward the dining room! I haven't seen anything, and I've only captured a few orbs on camera, but I'm keeping an eye out!
My other story -- We visited an old family cemetary in Louisiana that was bursting with activity! I have some great pictures, and will send them to Kell as soom as I can! Amazing stuff! One appears to be a very pretty young blonde woman sitting on a tomb with her hair blowing in the wind. I am flabbergasted -- we didn't see anything while we were there, and the pics were taken in broad daylight! Can't wait to go back at night!

=O! Holy Smokes! Maybe you need to start taking a few more pics inside your house - especially in the areas they saw her. It may help too, to ask your ghostie lady if you can take her pic. Do you know if she was a previous resident? Wow. That is almost cute that she was startled when the doorbell rang. ;-)

I'm anxious to see the pics you took in the Louisiana cemetary! ooh, ooh, ooh! :jump:

Wow, you have been hitting the jackpot with the ghosts around you! I am anxious to see your pics. I was also thinking that with the old lady on the couch, I wonder if a tape recorder would pick up anything from her.... if you were to leave it on overnight, or something? Who knows what you might bet? Keep us posted! =)

Carrie, you might also consider setting up a video camera during the night - aimed at where she was last spotted. =O!

I've caught a few orbs in the house, but I need to take more pictures! I've even wondered if something is attached to the sofa -- It is very old, supposedly from the 1850's. It came from an auction in New Orleans, and did have some activity around it when I lived with my parents. In that house, I would swear I saw a woman with a turn of the century outfit and huge hat sitting on it when I would pass by. This however, was a completely different description, and I had not noticed anything unusual about the sofa in this house. I will try to take more pics! Ooh, Azspirit, those EVP's just give me the willies! I'll try it, but I may have to wear some Depends while I listen to them!

Carrie,

What date were the Louisiana cemetary pics taken? I thought I'd include it with the pics in the album.

DeeDee just signed the picturetrail guestbook and really liked the 'little red riding hood' ghost! =P

Kell, the cemetary pics were taken on March 10. I went back over there this weekend and tried to take some more, but a storm had blown through the area the night before and a lot of people were there cleaning up. So, I took a few shots, but nothing showed up.
However, I saw 3 teenagers walking around with cameras, and I suspect they may have been doing the same thing. I started to talk to them, but I figured if they weren't, I'd probably sound like a nut!
I also went to the Myrtles, I've got a couple of photos with a misty haze that I may send you. It may not be anything, it is kinda hard to tell, but I may get you to take a look.
