We saw a movie called "Best in Show" (on HBO-W here in Phoenix) tonight, which is a satire about the really big dog shows. This is one of the funniest movies that I have seen in a long time. It is hard to say which part is funniest.... the prissy woman with her poodle, whom the dog show commentator said should be a cocktail waitress on an oil rig, to the people that the hotel put up in the janitor's closet, because the real rooms were full of other dog show folks. (This closet was soooo comfy.... with a nice rollaway bed, and having to ask someone in a 'real room' for the room service menu and to have food delivered to the janitor's closet.... oh, yes, the restroom was two floors down, in the lobby!)
This is funny from beginning to end, and I would recommend it to anyone who would like a few good laughs. It is especially funny if you understand how a dog show is normally done.
