Hi! I'm a cyber friend of Connie's. Sorry, I haven't explored enough to know if there is more than one Connie who hangs out here, but my Connie is a delightful mom of 2 handsome young men and lives in Ohio. I am in Minneapolis. I have a partner, a step son and step daughter, a big dog and a giant puppy and a queen size cat. I practice Pagan/Wiccan spirituality, but I am not a purist. I have a very boring job and I am sure the discussions here will tempt me from it, but I have to be good and only visit a couple of times a day.

You are all so sweet! It's nice to be here. I used to use the trick of using time before and after work as well as lunch hours to play on the internet. Unfortunately, I have a herniated disk in my lower back that makes it difficult to sit at all. I go home for lunch and lay down and get up and leave this desk chair a.s.a.p. when it's quitting time. But on the 27th of April, I am having it fixed. Tiny incision, one hour surgery, one night in the hospital and hopefully, I will be back on my tush again! It's a strange life I lead these days. You have no idea how hard it is to avoid sitting!

There's a fair wind blowin'in from the Indies-time to haul off and set sail into the sun!!We got us some day sailors out there to raid in their little martini barges- got to get our wine and brie for the night's festivities! Darcy- you man the shinwhacker (the wheel) since your back ia 'a hurtin' while we try not to foul the riggin'!!!Ah Az! that's a good pirate you are bringin' those big trash bags to marinate the goat in for the BBQ!!! Let's go below and cook up a storm for Darcy!

Thank you again! I finally got back here to read some of your posts. They got me one of those kneeling chairs for my desk so it's more comfortable to sit, but since they were so nice, I would feel guilty if I didn't do what they pay me to do!

I am a bit more comfortable at my desk this week because someone I work with bought one of those kneeling chairs for 2 bucks for me at a thrift shop, fixed it up with a board and some nails. Occupational health has been dragging their feet about aproving a really good kneeling chair for me, but I honestly don't think that I would be able to make it through the next week without it.
I will try to stop by as often as I can!
