Last year my neighbor Howard passed away. His daughter, her husband and three kids were living with him at the time while they were looking for a place of their own - they've since decided to stay there.
She has told me that she still feels him around and I found a very large orb next to her in some pictures that they took in the house last New Year's Eve.
It was confirmed that he is still there last week when her brother-in-law and his wife came for a visit. The Brother-in-law's wife is not one of her favorite people and their visits are always a strain and very negative. They came as usual and were planning to stay several days but after the first night, my neighbor got up to find the brother-in-law on the phone trying to find a hotel room they could afford. Why? Because of the doors opening all night and the knocks heard throughout the house that kept waking them up - no one else was disturbed.
It seems that Howard had a habit of checking on the kids (opening the bedroom doors) before he went to bed and she says that has been happening from time to time and she thinks he just added the knocking for a little extra boo! My neighbor was thrilled and just keeps repeating "Thanks Dad!"
