Hi everyone,

I thought I would share a story about my recent move and the ghost who showed up.

In december my daughter and I moved into an apartment after seperating from my hubby (we are still friends, so everything is relatively OK). For the last few weeks I've been noticing someone standing by my side of the bed while I'm trying to go to sleep. Needless to say, that makes it hard to do! Also, when I would go upstairs to visit my neighbor, I would come back and the sound on my computer would be turned up! Now, I assumed it was me forgetting to turn the sound down since the screen saver doesn't kick in for a few minutes, but the last time it happened I had made triple sure I had the volume off!

Anyway, I had a sensitive friend of mine come over to help me figure out who was here (I knew it was a male, but that's as good as I can do!). She said he had been around since February and he even described a game of checkers that my daughter and I played around that time- freaky! Seems as if he lived a few blocks over (my friend even named the street) He also told her about some painters that had come to the complex to do some work. He said he knew the painters made me nervous, and so he decided to stick around and watch out for me. Also, apparently he likes to watch my daughter and I play. He turns the volume up on the computer to let me know he's watching the house while I'm gone!

Gosh, I knew that since my daughter and I are sensitive we would attract a ghost, but I am supremely happy he turned out to be so nice!

have a good day,

Liz ;-)

That's really cool. A good ghost looking after you. Who could as for more? Maybe ask him to pose for a picture? ;-)

too cool!
It does feel good to know "someone" is watchign over you and in the sense of protection rather than fear and with the intent of spooking you! That's great! =D

Way cool! I'd be very curious as to who this person is. If you've got a street, maybe you can check up some obituaries or something and come up with the name of this person. That way you could address him by name and thank him for the protection.

How neat, Liz! Interesting that he only lived in the neighborhood, but ended up at your apartment. How sweet of him to watch the place! Now, since he's head security guard, I wonder what he'd do if there were to be an intruder..... :nerd:

Please remember Liz that the reason ghosties are still here is because they have some issue or problem. It may not mean you'll have a problem with him but the basic underlying reason for him still being around is that he has one.
In the least don't be another reason for him not to move on over to the other side.
I'm not trying to rain on the parade, I just wanted to give a little reminder.
I've met many ghosts who are good people but please be careful.

It has been nice knowing I don't have any creepy ghosts in the house. The home I moved from was full of heavy energy, but that was probably because there were 6-7 ghosties there at a time.

Nakis- you are absolutely right, and I have been careful about not getting attached. I don't call him by name, and I have told him thanks, but that he needs to move on. I'm happy with him here, but don't want to keep him around when he is ready to move on. So far I haven't gotten a name or a manner of death, and that does bother me, but I don't get a bad feeling about him at all. If I keep telling him it's OK to move on, I think he'll get the message eventually. Until then he can stay where he feels useful. Maybe he will keep other ghosties from wandering in so that I won't end up with another house full!
