Did you guys hear about this? I read it on the CNN ticker at the bottom of the TV screen...

Some guy (a worker, I believe) in New Hampshire was digging up an old sidewalk and discovered they were made out of headstones from the local cemetary! =O

That could have been a common thing to do. My great uncle use to make headstones - if he made a mistake on one or if he made one and the relatives just didn't pick it up - he'd use it in a walkway or as a splash barrier for his water pump - old headstones still litter my families farms in West Va.

Wow, really!? I never knew. But I guess I should have at least thought about it!

Um, the only thing that bothers me is that this made the news - like maybe these were headstones that were supposed to be in use, not discards. Gotta find the story on it! =P

I hope that it's like Connie said,... just mistakes and un-needed stones! Or else... =O!

Interesting Kell. If you can dig up the story (pun intended) I'd love to hear more about it. Let's hope the headstones weren't stolen!

Hmm. You gotta wonder if they dig a little deeper....

It doesn't seem too logical for anyone to use some actual grave gravestones for a sidewalk. Unless they were really mean people.
