This was on CourtTV the other day - I snapped a pic. ;-) I was watching the sentencing of Michael McDerrmott (sp), the convicted "office shooter".. one of those disgruntled types, I guess - don't recall the case offhand. He killed 7 or so people. During the sentencing, all the families had a chance to go up and read something about their loved one who'd been murdered by this man. What does he do during all of this? Read a book. Look at the split screen...
I know he was probably not able to concentrate on the book, in fact I watched him and you could tell he was faking it but still!! He wanted to give the impression he wasn't listening, didn't give a rats about those he killed and wasn't sorry for it. The nerve!!!! >:-(
