On May 30 a local spiritual shop in my area is hosting a session with a medium. The maximum amount of people allowed in the audience is 30 to 35 so maybe I've got a good shot of hearing from some of my loved ones who have crossed over. I am sending messages to them to come and visit - wish me luck =)

Good luck. Keep a sharp mind during all of it. Make sure this medium isn't passing off bunk at your expense.

Don't wish too hard and try not to concentrate on only one person. Sometimes you block others from coming through because you expect to be contacted by only one person. Let us know how it goes.

The big day is getting closer!!!! :jump:

One more day!!!! I have been to several psychics and those claiming to be mediums but this one apparently is going to be like a John Edward setting. We shall see. I am meditating and asking my loved ones to come visit if they can. My mom is coming with me (she's very psychicly tuned in - she has lots of "dream visits") so even if they hover around her, I'll get a piece of them. =D =D

Well... John Edward he wasn't but he was very entertaining. I went in with a very open and clear mind. I did meditate during the day and spoke to my guides and family and friends and asked if they would come through if time permitted. He gave about an hour lecture about spirituality, life, spirits, mediumship, etc. (It was a good lecture but I didn't expect this and didn't really want that much information - he talked about things I am sure 98% of the people there already were aware of). We took a 15 minute break and then for about 40 minutes he gave readings to whoever the spirits led him to. He did go to my cousin whose mother was my mother's sister and then came over to my mom (we were not sitting with my cousin). He told my mom that she has a long life here and she is far from going into the spirit world (that's good news) =) He also told her that I'm her guardian angel (which she's been told before) so that was cool. The people I wanted to hear from did not come through and my soul friend and her daughter who were sitting right next to me didn't get any readings at all. He was pretty "right on" with several people in the audience according to their reactions so all in all I was fairly impressed. He also does private readings but I have no idea what the charge is - trying to find out. He will be back in this area again the end of June for another group setting but I don't really want to sit through the lecture again. I would go again if it was just for readings.

Wow, Donleeann... I am sorry that you didn't get any new information. I know that you had hoped for some.

I can see all of the spirits in a big crowd at the edge of the stage, all of them there for the members of the audience.... and they are all jumping and waving their right hands, saying "Pick me!! Oh, pick me!! Pick me!!..." LOL

And, the guy just picked a few....

Well, maybe you will hear from them through other channels. You may want to ask your Guides to have these certain spirits to come to you in a dream, so you can talk to them. That works for many people.

Well, at least someone came through for your cousin and mom. =) Maybe he does the lecture first because he feels people need to know something about spirituality before he starts the readings? Or maybe to make folks feel like they got something for their money if a spirit didn't come through for them? ?_?

Who knows. It would be great to have a 'readings only' session... =D

Perhaps you are right about the lecture first but...It's okay - he was very entertaining and enlightening. I do have "dream visits" - my mom has them more than I do. I told her next time to tell spirit to come to me once in a while. =) There is some unfinished stuff that I wanted to talk to a particular person about and she has visited me in dreams but it's still unresolved. It will be when it's time.
