I meant to write this up right after I had the dream, but didn't get around to it. :rolleyes:
I had a dream about Egypt Air about a week or so ago. It didn't seem serious, but I'd told mom about it because it was so silly and that we'd have to watch the news for something to do with Egypt Air. Yesterday came the news about an Egypt Air crash! I don't know a lot about it yet, I haven't watched much news these days. I must start journaling these things!
I dreamt I was in an airport and was helping some girl with her homework (I know - whatever!). We were sitting near the large windows that look out onto the tarmac. I looked up into the sky and saw, what I perceived to be in the dream, an angel. But he was silly. He had curly, yellow golden hair and was wearing what looked like a hospital gown. He was sorta doing a jig. I told the girl, and whoever else was listening - I don't recall, that the angel was a 'cut & paste' job! It really did look like something was superimposed on the sky. :lol:
Then - and here's the really silly part - a plane-sized naked man came rolling in like a plane would and sort of rolled under the building (through an underpass you could say). He was laying on his belly and had his arms tightly tucked to his sides. He was young but shaved bald-headed and gold glittery. In the dream, I instantly said "Egypt Air!" - like I was surprised (and who wouldn't be after seeing a naked giant man rolling around like an airplane :crazy: ) and wanted to make sure everyone knew what it was.
For whatever reason, I just knew it was an Egypt Air airplane; maybe because of all the skin showing and all the gold glittery stuff reminded me of the Luxor at Vegas. This is the only thing that seems logical. It gave me chills though when I heard about the Egypt Air plane crash... :nerd: ='(

Kell, What a funny dream. And I thought I had strange ones. Do you really think it was a premonition? It certainly was an amazing coincidence. I heard about the plane crash yest. but I didn't watch the news long enough to see what happened. You should keep a dream journal. It would be interesting to see what happened in the world in relation to your dreams.

Oh, I have some wacky dreams sometimes! :lol: I do think this one may have been a premonition, but it certainly wasn't very clear. I did however, take it as a sign... that's why I said we'd have to wait and see what turns up in the news. It feels very strange to have these things come true.... =O
My best premonition to date was for an earthquake a few years back. I had the premonition while I was wide awake several months prior to the quake itself. I had said before the year was out (I think it was '99? I'd have to check), there would be a severe quake in so.ca., most likely in mid-October. I forgot about it - never dreaming it would come true.
October 15 at 3am in the morning (can't get much more mid-month that that!), a 7.1 quake hit approximately 1/2 way between here (Phoenix) and L.A. I think Joshua was closeby? Again, I'd have to check on the name. az and I were both awake when it happened and we felt it very strongly all the way over here! I just could hardly believe I'd predicted this... still can't ! =O!
And hey, for what its worth, the Pope isn't much longer for this world, bless his little heart. He seems like such a sweet man. I'm feeling like sometime this year or early next. ='( But I will say, he's made it longer than I thought he would... I'd previously felt he would be gone by 2002. I certainly do not wish him ill, but we shall see...
Yep, I keep telling myself to journal this stuff. I've just got to do it!! :crazy:

I agree, start a dream journal. I've found them to be really good ways to track your dreams. Writing them down also helps you realize what they mean. Like how would you know that the dream meant something about the Egypt Air crash? While writing the dream down you might realize what details meant the plane was going to crash.

Kell Kell , Did you see the movie " The Mummy " ? In the remake there were several scenes of half-naked priests - painted gold. This may have been the synbol your subconscious chose to give you to get you started thinking about Egypt. Your sudden knowing ( Air Egypt ) was spontaneous , and this is the way insights come - like bolts from the blue - unexpected , and not from habit-mind . I have a whole survey / essay on Dreams written by a lady I know , one that I have used , because it WORKS. And if I think that anyone here is interested , I'll start a new thread...o.k. ? -Mark
I know what you mean about the weird feeling when something actually happens..... I had a premonition that my mother, after arriving back in Arizona from OK, would have to cab it to her home because her prearranged ride would be unable to meet her.....it happened!
I had the "idea" that my boss wouldn't show up one day and as it turned out she didn't but I had also forgotten my keys that day and really NEEDED her to show up. I had the "idea" that the same bosses husband was having an affair, sadly I must report he is! ='(

KellKell , using your dream as an illustration , and remembering that you are the one who decides what your dreams show , what rings true , I will use a method of interpretation I find to be most useful ( because it's the only one I know that works , folks ! ) . First the elements / symbols:
Airport = The condition of Mind concerning diversity of self - expression . How do you express yourself individually and in groups ? Are you the same person at all times , all situations , with all people ? Do people you associate with share your ideas and goals - thus bringing out your best ?
Man = because you are female , and because every symbol in dreams is an aspect of YOU , dreaming of a member of the opposite sex is a symbol of your Subconscious Mind . For men , a woman in dream is HIS Subconscious Mind / symbol.
Naked = In dream this is a great sign ! Means Being true to your self .
Plane = Ability to move from one place or time to another.
O.K. Remembering every symbol in dream is telling you something about yourself , and often this is about something that happened the day of the dream , ley's put these symbols together with the action.
You were in an Airport . Any building is a symbol for Mind , but the fact that this was an airport shows that aspect of your mind relating to self-expression , or the many ways you can use it to express yourself with other people. Looking out the window , you search for something beyond what you already have ( desire for new experiences , to learn something ) and you see a silly cherub. This " new-agey" kind of image may signify the standard preconceived notion of a higher Being - but it's dumb , a man trying to behave as a woman , perhaps ? Anyway , then a Big Gold Naked , bald man . BODY = VEHICLE . He replaces the clown in the tu-tu , and comes in for a landing . This is - because he is unfamiliar to you - an aspect of your Subconscious Mind you are unaware of , so far . He is gold which is Value , he is a body which is vehicle ( for astral travel ? ) , He is nekkid , which is being true to yourself - Our dreams do not lie to us even though the symbols may be startling ( they are only bizarre to our social self - our Higher Self knows all about it ).
In fact all these symbols work together - one thing can have several uses to tell us better what we need to know . Economical , no ?
I think you are learning a new more powerful more truthful way to express yourself , KellKell. ..and the Air Egypt thing / I do believe all that was , your subconscious mind is showing you it is responsible for precognition. That's all .

Hmm... thanks, Mark... that's interesting. I just don't understand how all of those symbol interpretations fit together to tell me my subconscious mind is responsible for precongnition. ?_? The dream had a much more specific meaning to me... I felt it was a 'heads-up' for something to do with Egypt Air and I expected something would happen, and it did. I understand that to be precognition... I suppose an alternative (or additional meaning) interpretation would be that my subconscious is responsible for precognition. Is that what you were getting at?
What book/source did you use for the interpretation? Maybe if I see more of it it will help me to understand how you arrived at the answer. ;-) Thanks!

hmmmmm kell sometimes dreams may not seem that scary but intensity as to what it means at the time in your sub-consious state of mind is scary enough. How scary to be able to predict things or have preminitions. Could you save people or would you go insane? scary.
I had a couple of dreams that came true when i was young lucky enough it was not anything bad, i had a boyfriend at the time you know the will you be my boyfriend "yes" and that is all it entales. hehe anyway i got bored of him and i wanted to go out with someone across the road from me so i asked my friend to go out with him so i could go with the other one and not feel quilty. It happened exactly how i had dreamt it the next day but my friend did change her mind about the boy, i think mine was probably just sub-concious planning what to do. Ok i was only 10 or 11
I also dreamt that my then boyfriend broke his leg and low and behold he broke his leg the next day oppps never told him.
Keep pen and pad by your bedside then when you awake you will be able to jot your dreams down and not forget.

KellKell , the way it is described in the system I know a little about - one that works , by my lights - is that the Dreamsource or Superconscious Mind of each of us USES symbols and pictures we already have stored in our Subconscious Mind , and in a kind of shorthand , sends us knowledges about our present life sitch , so we may overcome obstacles , or prepare for what may come , or enhance our experience of living in deeper ways such as creativity or facing our fears and resolving conflicts. This is what dreams are for - in addition to meeting animal spirit guides , guides , even to receive messages from our Higher Self .
