I don't know if this is related to a ghost or spirit but it sure was weird. I had another one of my famous bad dates last night, I came home around 12am or so. Everyone in the house was asleep and I was in the bathroom removing my make up when I heard music. So of course I go in search of the source fully prepared to bust Elizabeth for being up so late and playing with toys, loud toys at that. So I went into the toy room where the music was coming from, she wasn't in there but this little jewerly box was and it was the cause of the music. It's a Disney Princess jewerly box and when you open the drawers or the mirror doors music plays and it lights up. The box was sitting on the floor music playing and lights lighting up and no one was around. I just ignored it and set it up on the dresser so that vibrations from the floor wouldn't set it off anymore being that it's loud and everyone was sleeping.
This morning I'm sitting on the couch watching TV and drinking coffee, I grabbed the remote to change the channel because COPS was coming on and I do love that show. When I pushed the button nothing happened. So I pushed it again, that's when the stereo came on LOUD. The remote for the tv isn't universal and the stereo has no remote. You have to push the button and push it with some force to get it to come on. I got up to turn off the radio, and as soon as I did the tv channel changed. That was freaky but then the jewerly box in the bedroom started doing it's thing. Elizabeth was just standing there looking at me with this expression of "what is going on??" on her face. Seeing as she was sitting beside when the tv incident occured and was standing in full view of me when the jewerly box did it's thing I can't blame it on her. So maybe there is some bizarre electrial thing that made the tv do it's thing and the stereo turn on full blast... I don't know, anyone have any ideas?

Miranda:I have never heard of electrical surgges turning on things. It sounds like a poltergist to me.He may have been passing through.Tell him to stop messing around and not to bother you anymore. With a poltergist that might not do any good but you'll get the pleasure of telling him off.I hope he goes away and doesn't bother you anymore. Love and light Bonnie

Sounds like somebody really wants your attention!I had a lot of ghostie happenings during our last bout of thunderstorms and I was told that ghosties use electricty to "power themselves up" so to speak. You might just try acknowledging their presence.

I've had this most of my life and luckily they have been positive experiences. Could be a passed loved one trying to communicate with you also. Good luck to you and let us know how things are going.

Thunderstorms you say?? We've been having some wild weather here lately. Tons and tons of storms. Almost everyday there is a severe thunderstorm warning. Hmmm... While I was in the bath just a little while ago the jewerly box started doing it's thing. This time it didn't stop on it's own so Elizabeth brought it to me. I was going to just turn it off but oh look it was already turned off. While she was carrying it it was blaring the music and flashing the lights. Bizarre..I took the batteries out of it and moved it onto the backporch =) Now if it does it again I'm going to have a talk with someone. Thus far no more tv/stereo issues, although I haven't touched the remote since it did that. Kinda cool though, press the channel up button and the stereo comes on lol.
As for the poltergiest, maybe I don't know though. Doesn't that feed of intense emotions (ie adolescents)? Everything here has been rather calm. You never know though. Thanks for the input =)

Somehow, I am not getting the feeling that it was a poltergiest. But, it does seem that there is a spirit that is trying to get your attention. Maybe if you just acknowledge it, and ask it not to mess with things in your house. Try it, and see what happens. If that doesn't work, maybe try smudging the house, to clear out any negative spirits. Let us know how it goes!

I'm sorry that your date was a bummer. You really deserve a better date!! These guys must be blind to not see what a great lady you are! Your spirit is as beautiful as your lovely face! That's the truth!!! Well, they say ya gotta kiss alotta toads to find the handsome prince.
I am sorry that this date was another one. Keep a positive attitude, and that special guy will have to come along.

Whoa! That music box just will not give up! Maybe it's trying to tell you that you're a princess and do not worry about the ninnies on those famous bad dates. ;-)

I do think something is going on for sure. I fully believe thunderstorms can cause increased activity, so maybe that is what's happening.

Keep us posted! =D

Well on the positive side of the bad dates, I'm complying them into a book lol.. I figure it would have to be a best seller =) I'll keep kissing toads and I'll find that perfect man for me eventually. =D
Good point about the jewerly box Kell, that made me smile. I just got home from work and thus far no weird noises and my remote seems to be functioning normally.. The jewerly box is still on the back porch though lol
