Just thought I'd start a new thread because, as Nakis mentioned, they found her remains yesterday in a park in northwest Washington. ='(

I have found it very disturbing that the police searched that area by grid a year ago and found nothing. I'm really thinking that someone dumped her body there after they knew it was no longer being searched. The argument has been raised that it was such a heavily wooded area that perhaps they missed something, but I just can't buy it. One thing, a close friend of James' moved from that exact area about a year ago, and was telling James that it is wooded, but not that thickly. In other words, it is unlikely that a body would go undetected if people were really looking. Such a tragic case. Such a beautiful young woman with nothing left behind but a heartbroken family. It will be interesting if anything is linked back to Condit. I have a feeling he didn't do it himself, but he knows something that he hasn't fessed up to!

Yikes... I didn't know that about the woods.. I wonder too if she wasn't dumped after they knew it had been searched. It would make perfect sense... everything was on the news about what was searched when, etc.

Another interesting thing... she was found in an exercise bra and tennies. Sounds like she didn't get far from the gym from where she was last seen. It made me wonder if someone abducted her from the gym. ?_? But I still don't trust Condit. He may not have done it himself, but he knows about it and was in on it somehow.

Very very sad. =( I didn't really believe she was still alive but I am sure her family was still hanging on to that shred of hope. I think that whoever did this did wait and place her there. I cannot believe that if they searched that area they wouldn't have found some clue.

I think they're looking at some other guy who is now in prison for attacking two other women in that same park. I don't know if they've come up with anything yet...

At least now Chandra's family will have "some" closure and they can lay her poor body to rest. Thank God I have never had to deal with this and hope I never do, but I would think that the "not knowing" would be the hardest part.
