Forums · Dreaming of sitting with animals?
When I was a child, I had a reoccuring dream that I guess you could say was a little strange. The dream consisted of myself sitting with a pack of wolves throughout the night around a campfire ??? Strange, maybe! :lol:
Over the last few nights though, I've had a dream that reminded me of those past dreams only there are a few different things. I dream of sitting in the woods, I'm sitting on a fallen rotted tree and across from me, sits a wolf. He just stares at me, almost talking to me with his eyes. The only sounds are coming from a beaver chomping away on some branches off to the side. We sit there all night, just looking, smelling, listening and when the sun is just rising through the trees, I see the shadow and when it becomes more visible, I see that it's my dog Tank, only difference is that in the dream, he's all grown up (he's now only 7 wks old).
He does this little 2 step motion with head and paw as if he wants me to follow him so I do. We walk a little while and then we find ourselves in a beautiful clearing all surrounded by forest. The feeling that I get is one that I can only describe as "pure" and "heavenly"! Such a peaceful feeling!
Across the meadow, I see my daughter, Tina-Marie (5) walking slowly towards me. She's wearing her beautiful white dress she wore at our wedding, she's such a cutie! :lol:
This is when I wake-up. I guess with Tina-Marie on my mind, I get the feeling of making sure she's ok so I wake-up and go check on her. I'm finding it so odd that it's almost like the dream I had as a child. It isn't quite the same but sitting with wolves? Strange!

Interesting dream! I don't quite know what to make of it, but I'm glad it's peaceful and all turns out ok! If I think of something regarding what it means, I'll post it.

Kell, thanks for that link. I think I figured it out and it seems very insightful.
Since we're moving at the end of June, from this heck hole, we're hoping that our daughter will get better.
I checked out the meaning of wolf and beaver... they all have some significance in sticking things through, etc. Wolf also had a meaning of "death" but I'm not going to let that spook me too badly. The kids are pretty much out of the house all the time. I don't spend the weekends at home anymore and during the week, we're outside pretty much all the time. Finally some nice weather! :lol:
The dream does have a good feeling so I figure that has to mean something, I hope I'm right.
