For the past several weeks I have been losing things, bizarre things. In the past week I've lost $20 out of my closed purse in my car. I stopped at a store, went to put the $20 bill in my wallet and it was gone!! I know it was there when I left the house, I know it was there when I got in my car. I'm a little obsessive about such things but when I went to get it it was just gone! I searched my car and it was nowhere to be found. Yesterday I lost a full pack of cigs out of my purse. I had 2 packs in my purse but when I went to get one it was the only one there. Now I am sure I had both packs there because I took them out of the wal-mart bag and put them there. I was rather angry about that and yelled to give my stupid cigarettes back! I went out to my car later and the missing pack was laying in the passenger seat. I would have brushed it off as them falling out of the bag into the seat but I didn't put the wal-mart bags in the passenger seat. I put them in the trunk and I remember putting the packs in my purse when I got home. Today however took the cake, I wanted to lay out in the sun, yes I know it's bad for me but it makes me feel better =) I was getting ready to change into my bathing suit. I layed both pieces on the bed and walked out of the room to get Elizabeth's sunscreen since she was getting in the pool. When I came back the bottoms of my bathing suit were gone!!! Just gone! I searched my entire bedroom and they are nowhere to be found. I would blame the final incident on the kiddo but she was yelling at me from the living room the entire time this was going on so it couldn't have been her. Right now I just really want my bottoms back. I finally find a black bikini that I like and the stupid bottoms disappear!!! AGGGGGHHHH I almost posted this in ventorama but I think there is something more going on then just my misplacing everything in my life.

Hey - that's very uncool to take a lady's bottoms! How strange that everything turns up missing recently. Have you tried asking for them back? Maybe they'll be kind enough to do that, since they did with the cigs. ;-)

While we're on the subject of missing items.... I just had a thought on how it may happen, so suddenly and silently. I think we all pretty much agree that ghosts are on a different, higher vibrational level than we and our belongings are, yes? I remember my OBE where half of my forearms and hands were missing - they were 'fuzzed out'. When I'd move them, trying to get them to reappear, they would start to fuzz back in, only to disappear again. I wonder if ghosts have the ability to fuzz things in and out of our plane of existance like that. Hence, things are 'gone' because we cannot see them. This would explain the suddeness and silence in which things are taken. However, it doesn't really explain how things reappear in another location - unless, of course, they're able to move things in the same fashion. Fuzz it out here, fuzz it back in over there!

Beam me up, Scottie!

I agree with Kell's 'fuzz' theory. Perhaps it is that you have a little 'invisible help' in misplacing your items. LOL BTW, I was just gonna ask... where do you put your purse while driving, and could the cigarettes fall out of your purse if it was on the passenger seat? You have no doubt already thought of that, but I was curious.
Those bikini bottoms are a real puzzle. They are apt to reappear just about anywhere, I guess... but, do try to ask them to either give them back, or at least help you find them! =)

$20 bucks, cigarettes, and black bikini bottom missing. Hmmm... Miranda, this has got to be a male ghost, and he must be having a heck of a time!

Carrie,
You know I think you are on to something there!! It is definitely a male, no woman would take that stuff from me, she'd understand the importance of those items in my life lol.

Az,
My purse sits in the floorboard of the passenger seat when I'm driving. I know the cigs didn't fall out of it because I didn't put them in there until after I brought the bags into the house. I'm still trying to figure out how they ended up back in the car. It's just weird

Kell,
I like that fuzz theory. I'm going to give that one some thought =)

I have asked for my stuff back. I'm still waiting. It's supposed to be pretty and sunny tomorrow so those bikini bottoms sure would be helpful. =D

Hmmm. Sounds like you do have a (male?) ghostie hanging about you. It sounds like you did a pretty thorough search to prove it wasn't something else.
Maybe it's not a male ghost. You'd think he would like it if you did get into your bikini. =)

I agree with Kell's fuzzy theory. But there is also times when things are actually gone too.

I hope you got stern with the ghostie and got you bottom back so you could get some sun. =)

Getting sun is not bad as long as you use sun screen. And getting some sun is actually good for you. Your skin actually makes vitamin D when exposed to sunlight. That and you can get a smokin tan.

I guess spray oil doesn't count as sunscreen huh?? It's been the running joke with my friends and I that I'm laying out in the sun drinking milk as self therapy =D
On a happy note, while the $20 still hasn't surfaced I found the bikini bottoms!!! YAY!!!!! They were hanging with a pair of jeans on a hanger in the closet. Now how odd is that?? Surely I'm not that crazy... I know I didn't do that! Why would I do that??? I just happened to be looking for some stuff for my lovely trip to Utah at the end of this week and lo and behold there they were. I soaked up a couple hours of sun today so I'm feeling pretty good, even though it's similar to a suana here. 90 degrees with i'm thinking 90% humidity... Maybe it'll rain later ;-)

Hi all, Mirandas story made me think of one story that still circulates around in my family. My cousin and his wife lived in a very haunted house, many years ago. Anyway, they had a new baby, and the wife was always finding the baby's clothes and diapers all folded. Clean or dirty, she said if she left anything out and left the nursery, by the time she came back, the stuff would be folded. Well this upset and worried her. And she sorta kept an eye out for it. Then things started disappearing. She confessed to some of the women in the family that a sexy pair of panties had disappeared from her dresser drawer. Of course we figured my cousin and his sick sense of humor, was probably putting her on. But he swore up and down he never bothered them. She fretted about all of these strange things, coming up missing. Then their knifes were coming up missing. All the kitchen knifes would be gone! Even my cousin was beginning to think something strange was going on and that his wife wasnt making this stuff up. Well the "panties" came back neatly folded on the end of their bed. They both found them one morning upon waking. The knifes reappeared a day later scattered all over the kitchen floor. They by this time had had enough and moved shortly after. So yes ghosts can do alot of things, some we may never know till we are ghosts ourselves. Take care, Lady Mira.Suzy's Ghost & Psychic Pages..[/URL]

Yay, Miranda!!!! I'm glad they're returned. How very odd to find them in the closet on a hanger! =O! Glad you were able to get some sun. Feels good, huh? =D

Nakis, my fuzz out theory would include things actually not being there (not just unseen). Like, fuzzing completely out of this plane, so you wouldn't see or be able to feel it and it could come back in other places. Just like Randa's 'kini bottoms. =)

Lady Mira, that is scary about the knives disapperaing and reappearing! Do they still live in that house?

no kell kell. They only lived there for about two months. The story is the old place had a old well on it and a woman drowned her baby in it. The people who bought it later, were always fighting, the man killed the wife with a kitchen knife. So my cousins being the last of a long line of renters, could not stay and would not. Lady Mira.

Oh my, well I guess we know the explanation for the knives disappearing. I don't think mine was anything like that. If it's anyone I know it's probably just my greatgrandmother showing her disapproval of the bottoms of the bathing suit. I can hear her in my head "Now if you're gonna wear a bikini you need to really wear a bikini! Didn't they have anything smaller than that??!?!?!" She was a great lady and quite scandolous for her time. There is a picture of her from the late 20's and she's wear gasp CUT OFF SHORTS!!!!!!!!!! She cracked me up with tales of her adventures. =D
