I've become friends with Kell and Mare over the past couple of days and wanted to introduce myself to everyone. You ladies have an awesome website and message board, by the way. =)
My name is Kristie and I'm a moderator at The Haunted Dawghouse and The Ghost Stalkers Forum. I'm 26, 27 next month and live in Houston, TX. I've been interested in the paranormal since I was 14 and saw my grandmother's ghost in my dining room.
I have 6 animal kids, a dog named Gizmo, ferret named Daisy, 2 cockatiels; Melodie and Donnie, a parakeet; Aspen and a Red- Eared Slider turtle named Fred.
I hope to become great friends with everyone here and look forward to posting on the board.

Welcome BQ! I tried to post over at the DH today but even though it says I am logged in, the second I try to post it says I can't unless I register. It's very strange. I have tried logging out then back in. I tried a different computer too. I can't post at all. =(

Thanks for the compliment on my name Sym. =) nakis, I chose the name for myself because I have always been told by my family growing up that butterflies were a sign sent by our passed- over loved ones that they were around to guide and protect us.
I attended my grandfather's funeral last year and as we came out of the funeral home and his pallbearers (my cousins) carried his coffin to the hearse, a large group of butterflies came up to the group of us standing outside. It was incredible. It was as if my grandfather (who I wasn't very close with) was trying to make amends since he couldn't during his life.
