I have seen a handful of pics with green (like lime green!) ecto in them, not white, as we normally see. If I remember correctly, these green ecto pics are usually taken at funerals.
What do you think is the reason for the color difference? Perhaps the age of the soul? i.e. green ecto is a recently deceased person whereas white ecto represents one that has been gone longer? Or ????
With no personal experience with seeing anything green myself.
I've read lots of stories from all over the internet and all the ones with any apparitions of anything that is green always proved to be malicious in nature. I don't know if that would apply to ectos too.
I wonder if there is a correlation between the color of ecto's and the color of auras? My mind has gone blank, but I think that green in an aura signifies "balance". I may be completely off on this. I've never seen green ecto, but I have seen it in a rosy, mauve shade -- I even have one pic of a swirling mauve tornado taken at a cemetary. I never could find out for sure if the color has any significance, but I can't help but think it does.
Good theories! That's interesting about the aura, Carrie. Hmmm. Makes you wonder! I looked it up real quick and green means: Healthy, balanced, calming, charming, sensualness, sensible or conniving. That sounds like a good ghost to have!
Also, for lime green, it says: Not many have this color and are balanced; usually stress-related.
