Carrie's (great?) grandmother's pics---
Grandma's bridal pic... I didn't recognize this one. Precious pic though!
Now,
this is the little lady I saw in Carrie's house!!!! =O! =O!
After seeing the pics, I wrote back to Carrie:
"OMG! My image of your gal is the same as the granny2 pic!!!!! Holy smokes! I see her with a little more profile, but I am confident that is her! The same cute little gramma body and everything. hehehe Let's see... she isn't the one that died in the bed, right? When I saw here earlier (in my mind), I saw it maybe from the view your sis would have been looking in the window. Now, I don't know if this will be right, or if I am influenced by the way my own living room is set up. When looking through the front window, the couch is to the right against the wall. Granny was sitting there, when she noticed your sis looking in, she turned her head left to look (at sis in the window), kinda panicked, turned her head back and took off going left (as you would be seeing this through the window)."
[**note to all: Here, I mean that she moved from the right of the room where the couch is, in the left direction - as Carrie's sis would be viewing it from the window]
Carrie wrote back:
About what the girls saw: Just exactly as you described! The sofa is on the right, and they could see right in. Amazing, huh?!
My reply to Carrie:
"Some other thoughts on the room.... between the end of the couch nearest the wall with the window they looked through, is an end table. On the far end of the couch and out slightly, facing the front window, is an upholstered chair. Coffee table is oblong and in front of the couch, but I can't be sure. It doesn't feel quite right." [**again, I was doubting myself for fear I was being influenced by the way our living room is set up.. lol]
"Was grandmother sitting in the middle of the couch, not so much at either end, but maybe a little closer to the window. Between the center of the couch and the arm nearest the window, but not right next to the arm. Does that make sense?"
Carrie's reply:
You are hittin' the nail on the head about lots of the ghostie stuff! I remember the thing about Liz's ghost! He hung out in the garage, didn't he? In my living room, I have the sofa against the wall, the oblong coffee table in front, and two old chairs angled on the other side of the coffee table.
I've been helping Mom move into another apartment (much better neighborhood, whew!) so I've got oodles of boxes of her breakables in my living room right now. When I can get those out, I'll take some pictures in there and send them to you so you can compare and see if you pick up on anything else!
