Well it seems that Rose is still with us. She did not move on as I asked her to since my "seeing her." Last night I went into the pantry/laundry room to look for a can of beans. We didn't have any. But I noticed a can of chicken soup and said, huh, I forgot I had that. Later that evening I went through the laundry room again to let the dogs outside. And the can of chicken soup was sitting right side up in the center of the room. At first I thought maybe it just slid off the shelf and fell down. But the shelf is level and the can did not roll into the center of the room then set itself upright. Kinda like she was saying to me, Hey, don't forget you have chicken soup in here!

That is odd! I wondered if vibrations from the washer could have made it fall, but I don't think it would have landed upright in the middle of the room. Strange!

Hmmmmm..... I think that you could knock the can off of the shelf deliberately all day long, and you would probably never see in landing upright. Also, a fall from a shelf like that should have dented the can... was it dented? I think your lady just wanted you to have some soup!! But more than that, I think she wanted to let you know that she is still there. This is one of those thing that make you stop and think. If your first impression was "Rose put this here" and not "the soup fell off the shelf", I think you were probably right.... it's Rose! =)
Maybe you will have to hold a going away party for her, or something, so that she gets the message. LOL

Sounds like Rose is letting you know she is still there. I've found that when you take notice of a particular something they target that object as a way of letting you know something. Maybe just to say I'm still here. Or trying to get a message across. Or trying to communicate to you.

To answer your questions, first the washer and dryer are on the opposite wall so there is no vibration there and I wasn't running either at the time. And second, the can had no dents in it at all. I found it so funny because I had just said earlier that I had forgotten I had that soup. No way I could forget now!
