I've been dreaming the same dream I had at the other house, the place going up in flame. Now, it's this house I'm dreaming about. We all get out alright, it happens at night, I hear the smoke detector and we have time to get out, just me and the skinkids and furkid.
Now just yesterday, I was sanding a cabinet door and out of the blue, the smoke detector started beeping. We replaced the battery with a new one and tested it and things were fine but this evening, I smelled smoke so I got the kids out for a few minutes so that Tim could check it out. He didn't smell the smoke...
How the heck can you tell the difference between premonition, fear, being silly, etc?
I have rehearsed the fire escape plan with the kids, and all is calm with them... I just wonder what a coincidence the dream and smoke detector?
