No I have not heard of that before. But I don't keep up with UFO's very much. I think the crop circle thing is facinating though.

I don't see the story anymore... or maybe it's there and I'm missing it. How strange though!

Our TV has been broken since the last big rain when the power went out and it's taking them eons to get parts to fix it! So, I haven't heard anything on the news either. Did it make headlines or is it hush hush?

I didn't see the story either. Couldn't find it. I do know that about 4-8 wks. ago a small plane (cesna?) was in the D.C. area where it shouldn't have been. Fighter jets did escourt it to Virginia to land. Turns out the pilot of the plane drifted into restricted airspace unknowingly. That was the last I heard of it. Could be that was the "ufo" incedent?

Drudge took it down after a few days, but I had seen the story elsewhere. In the stories I read, the Air Force did not deny that they had been chasing it. I haven't heard a word about it on TV, and I seldom read the newspapers because I get most of my news from the internet. I was surprised there was not more of a cover up on this. However, it looks like they are keeping pretty quite after a few days. I believe it happened this weekend.
According to the witness interviewed, they saw a bluish, cylinder shaped object moving at rapid speed, and the F16's taking off after it. Can you imagine looking up and seeing something like that?! =O
