I just went over to the Willard Ghost Cams earlier this evening, and I have captured something that really has us puzzled. It was there when I first came on, and 30 seconds later, after a refresh, it was completely gone.

This is the detail of the area. What do you think it might be?? I thpought it looked a bit like a lady in a bustled dress, gray in color, with her back to the camers... but, I am not sure....

Just 31 seconds later, I got this capture, and there is no longer any sign of what I saw in the above pictures:

The height to me indicated a younger person but then the width of the shoulders has me puzzled. It also looks like it might be carrying a pack sac on his back.
It looks like someone reaching to grab a book! =O!
I don't feel that this is a woman, maybe because of the broad shoulders but maybe not for that, since I'm pretty built too, it's just a little feeling I have, male.
I wonder what book it was looking to read?

It certainly is odd! I think whatever it was had not fully materialized. I could distinctly see the arm reaching for something. What a picture! I never seem to have any luck finding anything on webcams.

Wow good capture! I can't make out for sure what it was?

okay call me the party pooper but it looks to me like some one left a cleaning caddy there. To me it looks like a roll of TP,some spray botles, a feather duster.....I am a complete loss to explain how it can be there for one minute and len not the next.... that whole place gives me the creeps though!

Actually I was going to say the same thing as Miss Grrl, it looks like a cleaning cart to me too. I'm wondering if the distortion on the books might be a broom or mop handle.

I kind of wondered about that myself.... but it just seemed odd that I got there at the exact moment that they came and got the cart!!! That is what I would call great timing, eh?? Anyway, it was interesting... WOW.... wouldn't you know that my first capture would turn out to be 'garbage'???? LMAO

After giving it another look, I think Miss Grrl may have identified it, I think it is the cart. It had me puzzled when I first saw it!

Jaded, I understand.... this was my first cap of anything on any of the ghost cams that seemed to be real enough to display. It does take alot of patience. Maybe this is why I am not the world's best fisherman, either!! LMAO

Lady Mira, I, too, wondered about that dark 'orb-like' thing!! It was very strange, and the pic gave me an odd feeling when I capped it.
Is it the Janitor, head, and he is crouched down, somehow??? I don't know... but, it certainly is strange.... to be there, and then totally gone in 30 seconds. But, I guess 30 seconds is a fairly long time, when you think about it... look at how far a person could walk in 30 seconds. Maybe someone did just grab that cart, and take off with it??

Don't you wonder sometimes if things are staged because of peoples' awareness of the camera there? Those who watch the Willard Camera and live nearby could possibly try and purposely place things in front jus to see if anyone captures it and puts it up on the site. I just wonder how many pics are fake like that, if any.

Ok but I see a orb. As far as the cleaning cart goes, I know the cams say they reload every thirty seconds. Well they also have a tendency to reload slower or faster depending on your modem. I captured a face peeping out from under one the tables not to long ago. I have it posted on my ghost pics page at my site. But the first thing I saw on your pic was that orb. It looks similiar to some I see at Ordsall Hall. I think you did make a cpature Az, and as for the cart leaving so quickly well it simply was pulled out of camera range. Ok I know what happened.The gray lady was cleaning up and forgot her cart.When she relized what she did she made her cleaning cart disapper.So see it was a good capture after all you caught the elusive gray lady cleaning cart a rare capture indide.We should all be so lucky.I also belive there is something strange about that thing. i do historical costuming, and it does look like a bustle to me. Very interesting! the shoulders would look wide becos of the way her dress is made.

i dont know what you guys are seeing in that picture aobut the cleaning cart or whatever but there is no doubt in my mind that htat is the old lady!!!!! the grey hair or "head of the mop" looks like hair pulled back in a pony tail type thing. and the "cart" looks nothing like any type of cleaning cart ive seen. i dont know about the rest of you but az i think you found something big
