Well something happened at the rental home we moved out of last Saturday. Bill had hurt his back last weekend and was in terrible pain. So bad it was difficult for him to breathe, let alone help me move the last 3 boxes out of the rental home and a few odd items. The landlord met us there at 9 a.m and was very nice about it. He said it was ok to leave stuff there as long as we needed to until he rents or sells the home again. He was so pleased with the condition of the house and how clean it was. Bill said there was only one thing left to do. Fix the patio screen door. Rhenzie had seen some birds in the yard one day and ran right through it. It didn't tear, it just pulled the screen out of the frame. Well Bill has a tool that you run over it in the seam part and it puts the screen back. Very easy. He promised our landlord we would do that when his back was good enough. The landlord said that would be great since he didn't have that tool and doesn't know the first thing about fixing a screen door.

So yesterday, Bill decides he will go to the house and fix the screen door. We still have one set of house keys, plus the key to the padlock on the gate that lets you into the backyard. Bill lets himself in. Goes to the screen door. It's fixed and fixed very well. Bill called the landlord to arrange a time to give him the remaining keys to the house. The landlord thanks him for getting all the repairs done so quicky! Said he stopped by the house and the screen was fixed! Bill didn't say a word. He couldn't take credit for something he didn't do.

Tell Bill I hope his back is better. =)

Thanks for asking about Bill's back. It still hurts but is about 50% better. I don't think Rose followed but.....Last Sunday the doorbell rang at 7:00 a.m. sharp. Bill went to the front door but didn't see anyone. So he opened the door and went outside and looked up and down the street. No one was there. No cars or anyone walking. Very odd. I said he just let the ghost in!

Rose can come on over here, I have a few jobs for her to do! ;-)
That is pretty weird Pandora! Wasn't Bill a bit of a skeptic at first? Has he changed his mind? Hope he feels better, nothing hurts worse than back pain!
That is odd too about the doorbell, mine used to do that frequently, but it hasn't in quite some time.

We've had the doorbell thing happen here before too! It seemed to happen a lot during a span of time, then quit altogether. Weird!

That is so awesome about Rose! I could use her help around my place, too!

If you guys end up needing to take Bill in to the Doctor's you might want to inquire about "Tordol" which is in the NSAID group and I found it to be quite wonderful for pain. WHen I was at home after my gall bladder surgery they gave me an Rx for that and Demerol... I didn't want to be all woozy from the Demerol so I opted for the Tordol... it helped ease the spasims (sp???) in the right side. Now I use it when my knees are acting up.... great stuff.

Meantime I will place his back on the top of my white light and healing prayers list. ((((hugs)))))

Ever nice of Rose! Does she like doing renovations?
I hope that Bill's back gets better quickly!
Strange about the doorbell, I've never heard of that before.
