Last night I had something really strange happen. I was watching Moulin Rouge (no that's not the strange thing) and there was one scene that I recognized a song but couldn't remember the name of it. It was really bugging me so I called my husband at work so that he could hear it over the phone. I rewound the tape so that I could play it for him. The trouble was that he could hear the guy start to sing and then it went all staticy, sounded fine from my end. Well I thought that I was standing too close to the speakers and the phone just couldn't handle the volume so I stepped back and tried again and the same thing happened. We tried it about 5 times and all he heard was static when the part came on that I wanted him to listen too.?????? He heard the beginning of it fine, it was just the part I was interested in that he couldn't hear. Drove me bonkers. Tell me what you think. Was it:

A...perfectly explainable technical difficulty

B...interfering ghost

C...I was excited by the song and unintenionally put the whammy on the phone myself.

Just in case it is a ghost, I threatened it with my fundimentalist christian, bible toting friend. That ought to be enough to scare it into good behavior.

Hmm!

Well... if it was a technical dfficulty... could it have happened due to a certain tone or pitch that the song hit and the (his?) phone couldn't handle the transmission?

Yep Kell, I thought about that. That's why I had turned the volume down and stepped back. You could be right though. It was a bizzar thing. =O I have no idea.
