My sister had a strange dream last. I have this same story posted at my boards but I think it needs sharing. As I said my sister dreamed of Twin Tower 1. There was a man trying to communicate with her about what happened. He couldnt figure out where he was or what had happened. She said he was very confused and kept "showing" her the day he passed. She saw in her dream a office with 3 or 4 people in it. She heard a female voice say, "flying to low, it's going to go". She said about that time everyone rushed towards a door, but then there was a flash of orange and then darkness. Her impression was that the man didnt realize he had died. he kept saying that they are all there. Still there at the Twin Towers. He was a married man about in his 40's. He kept showing her his wedding band.
We were by now crying both she and I. We could not concieve as to how to help this poor soul. So if you can relate to this please know, that those of us that get contacted will try and help them to the Light. Lady Mira. Suzy's Haunted View[/URL]

Maybe lucid dreaming techniques would help. I don't have a clue on how you could develop the ability to lucid dream but I do know that when I've had a recurring dream, eventually I am aware that I am in a dream and can manipulate what happens (each time a little more than the last). I'd suggest that while she is trying to relax to fall asleep, she should concentrate on seeing the man's face, or the ring, or something that might trigger in her mind that this is a repeat of the dream. While she is doing this, she could also chant in her head "go to the light" - she may just be able to change her dream enough that she can communicate with him.

How terribly sad! What an unpleasant, frustrating dream for your poor sister. I think Connie made an excellent suggestion. If she can try to manipulate the dream and tell him to go to the light, maybe this poor soul can find peace. I have a strong feeling there are other people like your sister who have experienced similar visits.

LadyM, did you sister have an opportunity in her dream to interact with this poor man? I think Connie hit it right when she said "lucid dreaming"...and I know it sounds weird but if she could dream this dream while someone else is hold her hand and trying to get a vibe from her, they might also be able to help.

Lady Mira, when did your sister have the dream? You said 'last', but no reference to what time frame you had in mind. (night, week, month, year???) I was just very curious about the time frame, to give myself, and all of us, a better point of reference.
This dream gives me chills, and I know that this poor soul, and probably many others, are locked into this tragedy, and can't escape it, to move on to the other side. It all happened so fast, and was so devastating, i know that there must be so many who are still trapped here on this plane. I hope your sister, and others, can help these poor lost souls.

That is sad. I like Connie's idea of lucid dreaming. Perhaps continual conscious thoughts for him to go into the light may be helpful as well... can't hurt.

Where was your sister during the dream? In his office? Did she feel like she was standing back watching this take place, or did she experience it in the dream?

Was he communicating with her before or after the tragedy?

Ok first of all she had the dream on August 21, 02. This week. And she said she was asking him questions but he was so confused that he was tuned into just telling her about himself. As is the case with alot of ghosts? She said she tried to communicate but he just wanted to find out where his family was, as he thought he was still in the Twin Towers. She got the distinct feeling of watching a horrible movie when he was showing her the plane hitting the Tower. He thought it was a accident or pilot error. She did try and manipulate the dream and explain to him he had passed and to go to the Light. At this point he shows her his ring and says he has a family. She woke frustrated and knew he was going to wonder the earth until someone could help him to go on. Lucid dreaming is hard and I too asked all the questions you all have. I suggested she put the flag (American) in the next contact if any. It might distract him enough to help. Working with spirits in a dreamstate is very hard.
