My father had an interesting experience yesterday morning in the kitchen. He'd made his morning coffee from one of those Folgers Singles™ things... the single coffee bag in a packet. He left the packet with the used coffee bag laying on it, along with the tab of the packet he had to rip off, on the counter, above the dishwasher. It was a good 4-5 inches away from the edge, as usual.
Later in the morning, he opened the dishwasher and was putting dishes in. As he was bent over putting a dish in the bottom rack, the tab from the coffee packet came sliding off the counter and onto the open dishwasher door, right in front of him!

It was as if someone had flicked it off the counter, or given it a scoot.
He's positive that it wasn't a movement of his that caused it to fall (a whoosh of air, etc.), because he was already bent over. There are no air vents in that area, no doors, no open windows.
