well, when my mom moved into the house several yrs back i felt it but said nothing. Soon i was getting reports of the animals acting funny and the sound of everything in the kitchen cupboards being thrown on the floor. yet there was nothing there.

shortly afterward a gang member died from an ambush on the front porch, Now there's knocking at the door. but no ones there

now i'm getting reports of a disembodied voice calling my sister's name. And of a white mist forming at her door and hovering there.

i've told them repeatly to burn a smudge stick, but they haven't.



guess i'll have to go down there and do it myself . . .

Good grief, dl! It does sound like the place is active! Was this person that was shot someone your family knew, or was it just some poor kid trying to find refuge? What a horrible thing to have happen! Was this right after your mother moved in? Was anyone home at the time? I don't know what I would be more concerned over, the gang activity or the ghost activity. I experienced similar phenomenon at some houses I lived in. It wouldn't hurt to do that smudging! How has your family reacted to the haunting?

no she didn't know who it was, everyone was home when it happened.

The gang problem is very bad where she and i live. But what ever it is calling out my sister's name really bugs me.

i've finally convinced her to let me burn some sage. Which i hope to do very soon.

I think that would bother me also, dl! I wonder if this kid that was shot was near the age of your sister? Maybe he feels more attached to someone who was near his own age at his time of passing. Keep us posted on how this goes. In the meantime, you and your family stay safe!

Good gravy, I'd be more worried about the gang activity then the ghostly stuff.

But do talk to them about smudging the place. I believe it is important to have their consent if not belief in the smudging when you do it. If they don't consent or believe they have no faith and since they are the ones who live their they take away alot of it's effect. I believe the best person to smudge/cleanse a place is the owner or people who live their. It's their space, their energy. They create the energy that fills the space. At least if they have hope that it will work.
I haven't found that a spirit calling my name to be very serious or a sign of a bad haunting. I've heard my name called many times. Mostly by spirits that don't mean any harm. Usually by spirits that had and affinity with me. Not all but most. I'd be more worried about the one causing the noise in the kitchen if anything. That one wants to cause disturbances.

Clean out all the spirits who have any sort of mean intent to the house, the people who live there or any one who visits their. I personally don't want to bar and spirits with good intent. I don't like to wash out the good with the bad.

spoke to my sister, found out it's not calling her name, but waking her with a soft whisper of help me. probably a lost soul as the house is very old. hoping to send her to the lite soon.
