I don't think it's over just because they caught two people "wanted for questioning"...the other shoe has yet to drop. I agree with you Pookiebear...what's up with suc a weird statement? Why not like a hog in ropes, or a cow to slaughter...why specifically duck in a noose?
Sometimes when I allow myself to really get in touch with how I really feel about this crazy world I wish I could just take my family and hide under the nearest rock until the dust setles and the smoke clears. This is'nt supposed to be the kind of place I wanted my kids to grown up in.

It's all too scarey and forboding. I just don't feel safe anywhere I go. It used tobe that you could at least feel a modicum of safety when you shut the doors and closed the windows of your house...even that has changed. Drive by shootings, home invasions. Just last week the people who live underneath and across from me had an unruly guest that they asked to leave. Seems they'd all be drinking and this guy pulled out agun and was brandishing it. They asked him to leave before it got out of control and in utter stupifiying defiance he sat on their couch and shot himself in the head! By the time police and paramedics arrived his was DOA. My point is that it could have easily gone worse and the bullet could have flown into my living room or kitchen and killed or injured one of my family,or passers by.... my kids aren't safe at school, they're not safe in the own own home and they look to me and my husband for answers, which neithe rof us have. How do I say "it'll be alright" when I can't promise that because some a$$wipe might have a bad day and go shooting at people here in Arizona?
What happened to the time and people wher everyone knew everyone else and actually cared and took pride in themselves and one another? Where you could actually sleep with the windows open and night and not have to fear that someone would crawl in and kill or rape you? Or that oyu might wake up and find your kids gone because they've been taken from the warmth and comfort of their beds? What happened to the time when you could walk down a public street alone without having to suspect everyone you met? When did using sign language become dangerous because it could possibly link you to a gang? When did we have to start keeping our heads and eyes down so not to offend someone and get yourself killed? Where did ordinary common courtesies go? Like hello, thank you, you're welcome and have a nice day?
