I was taking a picture of an old stone building which was once used as a grist mill. The building sits off the road about 75 to 100 feet off the road. The night was cold around 35 degrees but the moon was out solar was active and the geomagnetic field was unsettled, a good night for hunting.

I used my digital cam which is kodak dc 3200. Now back to the pic. The place is called gretchens lock whick was built in the 1800's it was one of a few locks built in the area. This was part of a canal system for a town called sprucevale which is said to be very haunted.

gretchen died during the summer she was only a child so her dad who built the lock put her in the lock until he finish building the lock. so after completing the lock he sent her body back to holland to be buried but her ship never made it there so the lock is said to be haunted by her.

Another story goes is a lady called the mushroom lady. she shows up in pics once in awhile across the park. her story is she killed the man and his fiancee with poisonous shrooms she put in a stew, she loved the man she killed nowshe haunts the park called Beaver Creek state park.

Did you catch the faces on the building. I am just wondering or do you think its a trick of the light. By the way I will dig it up. I have it saved to disc.

Cool pictures! It is amazing what film captures that we do not see with our eyes. Your pictures also suggest, that night is not the only time to ghost hunt.

Hi guys sorry I have been away awhile I have been doing some investigating. Here is what im startinting to think about Hambleton's Mill. Stories have been around about some Native Americans from long ago. So here is my theory maybe there is a burial ground around close by and it stirs up the spirits of the area. Any thoughts on this anyone. Oh I added another building shot keep your eyes on the lower right hand corner of these shots. I also created nature shots too.

I think the burial ground and any other history of the area would be well worth looking into. Let us know if you find anything!

I checked the new Mill pic.... what is it you're seeing in the lower right hand corner? I think all I'm seeing is the tan color within the bricks.

The nature shots are gorgeous! [Smile]

You're welcome to post the original pic in the thread if you want. (So long as it's not huge... [Wink] )
