OMG! We no sooner get over the horrible sniper shootings and there is another story of a shooting in Arizona. Below is what I found from MSNBC. There will be more updates on the story as they get them.
NBC AFFILIATE KVOA-TV first reported the shooting at the College of Nursing. The first shots were fired around 8:30 a.m. as students took midterm exams.
The nursing college and nearby buildings were later evacuated as a SWAT team went through to make sure the area was safe and to look for any other victims.
Before news of the fourth victim, campus police chief Brian Seastone told KVOA that two people were shot dead and a third died apparently from a self-inflicted wound.
“The (person) with the self-inflicted gun wound appears to be the shooter,” he added.
That person, described as a nursing college student in his 40s, reportedly had prior military service. Police were searching his vehicle for any explosives.
KVOA reported that the shootings took place in front of students, who were later allowed to leave before the gunman apparently took his own life.
One student said she thought at first that the incident was a Halloween prank.

KVOA is a Tucson NBC station...this happened in Tucson!???!! That's too close to home... ![[Eek!]](eek.gif)
I have family in Tucson ( thankfully none enrolled inthe nursing college).
Walter and I were talking about that earlier, there are gonna be a lot of copy cat killings. Makes you wanna crawl in uder a rock and hide,sometimes.![[Sad]](frown.gif)

Apparently this guy was barred from taking the final exam (I suspect because his grades were not adequate) and that's why he did this.
He had made a bomb threat at the Uni. on a prior occasion and they were afraid that he might have an explosive on him today! There was a backpack or something under his body, but it turned out to be something else - not a bomb. The bomb-sniffing dogs did hit on his Jeep though, but they didn't find any explosives in it. The dog may have hit due to the man just handling ammunition (or who knows what he's hauled around in it before!).
