The Green Thing with Glasses is what I call it, was snapped as I was taking a shot without flash towards the darkest part of the lot. There was no cars in this area and no lighting. Actually I was waiting on my stepdaughters to come out of the church, I had gotten there early and was bored. The first shot I took an orb showed on the viewscreen. I then started taking shots all over the lot. out of about 15 shots ony a few had anything in them. But the ones that appeared black when I uploaded to computer, after adjust the brightness and gamma I found orbs and the Green Thing with Glasses. [Nerd]

Alan, nice pics!! That green energy-looking anomaly... do you recall seeing anything at all just before you snapped this one? Looks like you got some pretty strong orbs, too. What dpi are you using for your pictures? I was curious, since I am a photography buff, and I also do computer art, and so I am quite conscious of the DPI and it's effect on the pictures.

I know that some paranormal investigators don't think that they have a spiritual connection, and just write them off as dust, bugs and moisture. I don't think that is always a true statement. I believe that there are many kinds of orbs, and I just can't write them all off. I do think at least some of them are a form of spirit energy.

Kell and I can often feel their presence, and if we snap a pic at the time, there is usually something in it. I have seen pics taken in obviously dusty places, like in the arena at a rodeo... and there are no orbs, but plenty of visible dust in the pictures taken. If dust is the culprit, why don't all pictures of dust make orbs?

Kell has a pic of an orb making a sharp turn, and I mean noticeably angular... and it is things like this that make it very hard to believe it is moisture or dust or even a bug. None of them would turn this sharp. [Nutty]

I believe that orbs of the geniune kind do exsist as a form of energy left over from a lifeform. What makes our bodies move in life? Electrical impluses from our brains through the nervous system to the right muscles. We are electrical beings. Our cells are essentially miniature batteries. A single thought provokes waves of biological lightning throughout our inner galaxy of a hundred-billion neurons, which are sensitive to less than a millionth-volt per centimeter. We even define death as the end of electrical activity in the brain. And of course electricity is energy. And...Energy can be transformed into another sort of energy. But it cannot be created AND it cannot be destroyed. Energy has always existed in one form or another. Therefore I think that orbs do exsist as a new form of energy or maybe the same form but absent from the body. I even think this energy form has intelligence, and that it can change form or shape, be visible or invisible as it attracts or absorbs power via natural or man made sources.
We as living have to continously feul our bodies by taking in energy to live. After the body has ceased the energy of our brains continues I believe to rely on outside sources of energy to continue in strength. Thus the reason for many ghosthunters equipment failures, i.e. fully charged batteries being drained instantly. Anyway this is my two cents worth.
PS I do think also that if they want to be in your photo's they will be, if not they won't. I also think that they may even absorb or try to absorb light energy from the camera strobes.

Hello Azspirit,
No I did not see anything with bare eyes before taking any of the pics, I was just randomly pointing and shooting. I think if i remember correctly I was using the 1200x1600 resolution setting, but it could be the 600x 800 because then I can fit more photos on the memory card.

Alan, I agree with what you are saying about the orbs and energy. I also think that the 'real ones' are intelligent. When we consider just how much 'intelligence' can be stored in a place so small, it is invisible to our eyes (like a strand of DNA... the amount of information stored there is awesome!!!) We have found methods to send energy in some controlled ways that boggle the mind, as in the fiberoptic cable, with individual optical strands the size of a human hair. Through each strand, we send tens of thousands of individual messages in a beam of laser light! Splicing this cable actually requires a microscope! This is just more in addition to what you were saying... too many things point to the possibility of there being an intelligent source of energy that may be invisible, or choose to be seen, and even capable of responding to human activity. No one that I have ever heard of knows what a soul looks like. I don't think that the soul shows itself only as a full or partial apparition... with just ecto or vortices being the only other forms. I think that certain orbs are also in this group of visual pieces of evidence of a spirit's presence.

I agree that many 'orbs' are created by dust and moisture, but they have a different look about them. We live in a dusty environment, just 2 blocks away from a major interstate, and being in the desert, I would say that our air has some degree of dust in it all the time.... but every picture we take certainly doesn't have orbs in it. Not at all. This makes me seriously wonder about the 'dust causes orbs' theory. My mind is open to all viewpoints about this, and I am certainly not ready to discount all orb photos as being caused by physical things in the environment.

We have found that even playing certain kinds of music, and inviting the orbs in a happy voice to 'come out and dance', will make for some successful orb photos in our own living room. Call me crazy, but this works!! We have done this a number of times. They seem especially fond of happy, lively music, like 'Orange Blossom Special' played on a fiddle. All I can say to anyone here is 'try it'! [Smile]

You may wanna try music of generations past, other than bluegrass. Maybe some old classics from the 30's 40's or 50's. Something that maybe from their lifetime. Just an idea. [Smile]
