I was at MT. Carmel Cemetry here in Maryland with my 2 daughters. I had bought a headstone for my grandmother and was taking pics to show out of state family members (that's my story and I'm sticking to it!) Well one of my daughters who is very gifted was talking to herself I assumed. But when I asked her who she was talking to ( I thought she may have been reading the markers ) She replied I am talking to them duh! There was no one else there! So I decided to snap a photo and sure enough she was right! Any opinions??

First off, welcome to the board, happy to have you join us.

As far as your pics go, it sure looks like there was paranormal activity going on. They look like some great captures. Would you happen to have some "clear" pics to post there so we can make comparisons?

Again, welcome, I look forwards to reading more of your experiences.

I like the middle one (of the tombstone) the best, you've got a nice orb there. The first and the third one I'm not too sure about, are they next to each other on the negatives? The discoloration of the pictures make me think that they might be processing errors. Is the misty stuff on the negatives, and if it is does it extend past the border of the picture into the frame of the negative? If it is on the negative but does not extend beyond the border of the pictures then I think that it is paranormal activity, otherwise I think I'll go with processing error, which just sometimes happens because color film and prints are developed on machines. And it could also be reflection on a dusty lense, which would show up facing the sun.

I really like the tombstone one, that's a very neat picture.

Great pics, Willow! I like the orb on the tombstone too. [Toothy Grin] As for the other misty looking ones... interesting! Do you know what order they were taken in? Were there clear shots taken before and after those? hmmm!

I checked the negative and there were a couple of photos in between those 2 I have a couple of more that look like that. I think it may be too that I just got a scanner and this is only my 2nd time using it. So I may have to read some more about it then scan them again. The way they look in the album is slightly different then they do on film. It did not continue onto the next frame on the negative. There were maybe 2 pics in between them. Thanks for the comments! Thanks for fixing my sig as well!

Pictures do look a little different on the computer than they do on the actual print. I don't think that you've done anything wrong with the scanner. Since the annomolies do show up on the negative but are confined to the pic I think that there is a good chance that they are paranormal in nature. If you would like to rule out errors on the prints themselves you could take the negatives down to a 1 hour photo place and have those pics printed again. It's usually not more than a couple of dollars.

Your daughter does sound very talented. [Santa Smiley]

You're welcome for the sig fix. [Wink]

Yep, pics will look slightly different between the actual film and the computer - it's natural. I think you got some good pics, Willow! [Smile]
