First let me tell that I have no children at home but my mom lives with us. Last week I spent 3 days in the hospital. On the night I got to come home my husband went to bed around 9pm. I had laid around so much in the hospital I wasnt tired. My mom had gone into the kitchen and I heard her talking at first I thought she was talking to herself but it was alittle louder than it was if you were talking to yourself so I asked her what she was doing. She stepped in the doorway and said I told Dan he better get ready for bed. I told her he was in bed and she said n he is out at the computer. I told hera to go look again that he went to bed alittle while ago. SDhe did she looked and when she came back into the frontroom she was kind of pale. She said hes not in there. I told he went to bed. She said but he spoke back to me. She was kind of spooked but also it was kind of funny.

Toni, I bet that did spook your poor mom! I wonder if this might not be some sort of residual energy? There have been times I have sworn I've heard my husband's footsteps on our porch, only to look out and no one was there. It certainly is strange!
Did your mother get a good look at "whoever" was sitting there, or was it just out of the corner of her eye and she assumed it was him?

Yes she got a very good look at him she said she stood in the doorway going into the computer room and he turned and said your the who should get ready for bed. This sounds like something he would say so I wasnt suprised at what was said but she is so sure. Even now she is sure of what she saw and what was said.
