Forums · My Father May Still Be With Us
My father passed away here at home in May after a long illness. There are times when we can be sitting either on the computer or watching tv and we can still hear him. We hear him cough, we hear him talk, and walking down the hall. Our dogs also sense something. At the same time we hear or sense something they do to! There is a possibility his spirit is still here with us, watching over us. I miss my father very much, but when I know he is still possibly with us in out everyday life it makes me feel better about things. Every sense of him is still here...we can feel it...I am not the least bit frightened...just curious to know why he is still here...maybe one day we will know.
Kathy, that must be such a hard thing for you to loose your Dad. Maybe he just wants to watch over you. Your probably very receptive to the fact that he's there because you still expect him to be. I think that our loved ones do watch over us more than we know, when grieving it's easier for us to recognize their energy, or perhaps they make an extra effort until they know that we will be all right.
