Forums · Is There Really A BigFoot?
Here in my area there are alot of stories of "Bigfoot." I have several personal friends who also have stories of seeing the creature in the woods here locally! I myself have never seen it..and I really can't say whether I believe or not...it is kinda sorta thing! Do you think there is really such thing?
I know I sure believe there is some big, size 30 shoe, hairy beast out there running around. My dad's family is from the hills of West Virginia and my husband's family is from the hills of Virginia, so I have heard many, many stories of this elusive creature!
Both our families literally live up and around the mountains and away from the city. My husband's family has told us that if your out in the woods late in the evening right before dark (which I will never do), you can sometimes here very loud footsteps along with what sounds like grunting and strange animal noises. Hmmm give me the city anyday![[Wink]](wink.gif)
My dad if he were alive today would tell you for sure that bigfoot does exist. Growing up in the country, he was naturally use to all the normal sounds and animals of the woods. He told me once that when he was young and up on the hill behind his house hunting, he heard this god-awful scream that darn near gave him a heart attack. He said he couldn't tell which direction it came from because it echoed all around him. Poor fella never even thought twice, he bolted for home at 50 miles an hour and never went hunting alone again! Knowing my dad, who has no fear of anything, that is proof enough for me that something certainly lurks out there that we might not want to run into on a dark night![[Eek! 2]](graemlins/eek2.gif)
