After a silence of over two months from our resident ghost. i've finally have heard from him again. Today we are closed to the public so I know defintly that it was our ghost. I was sitting here at the front desk when I heard footsteps in the stone room. Since no one is here today I didn't bother to check it out. A little later I heard the footstep once again. I then heard, some time later, the metallic clicking noise right behind me. I've heard this noise on several occasions before usually just once or twice at a time. I wasn't really in the mood for this game, so I told him to stop it and I guess that wasn't what he wanted to hear, cause he did it several more times more very quickly to show his displeasure.
Just thought I would keep everybody up todate on the ghost here.

Typical, I just sent you a private message asking you for an update on your museum ghost, then, I see you have posted something! Ha ha ha. I believe there are ghosts at the museum where I work. It sounds like your ghost wants some attention, not go away! Do you have any idea who it might be? I say good morning and good night to the spirits where I work. Does everyone at your museum believe, or are there sceptics among you? Some of my co-workers had a disbelieving attitude, now they tell me about things that happen that they question.

There are a lot of places where ghosts live. Old hotels and theaters, places where people are killed, its not rare for a ghost to be in that museum. [Nanner Man]

I've got a dear friend who works in a museum. I've got to approach her with this subject the next time I see her. The museum she works at is in what was a private home, donated to the local heritage society by a woman upon her death. I've been in some of the areas that are normally closed to the public and it wouldn't surprise me at all to learn the place is haunted. I've been in quite a few museums in which I could sense a presence. It stands to reason with all of the displays of things from other eras that a spirit would linger. Thanks for the update, Blackadder!

I have reason to believe that the ghost is one of the former workers. If it is, I'm not sure. But the metalic sound sounds like keys jangling. I acknowledge that the ghost shares the same space as me but I really don't talk to him. I guess I will try to in the future.
Some of my coworkers have had similiar experiences like mine. So they do think that something is going on here. We talk about the ghost and joke amongst ourselves about him but we do have our resident sceptic here.
As for museums being haunted, i think that most are and that nobody really lets the public know about, most musuems want people to come to see the exhibits and not ghosts. I interned at another museum and had a couple of weird experiences there, so I would hav eot say that on the whole musuems would be a good place to check for ghosts.
