I am having a ghost investigation at my house Friday and I was wondering if it sounds too crazy to play music of my ghosts era? And i think the era would be that of Rose Red the movie. Does anyone know the tune they played when they all danced in that house?

I don't know anything about that particular movie, but I think it is a great idea about the period music as long as it is ok with the investigation team.
My husband and I were taking some pics in an old rural cemetary a few months back where several Confederate veterans are buried. I popped in a tape of Civil War tunes from James' re-enacting days and got a bunch of orb pics. They seemed to increase after playing the music for awhile. I think having something familiar from their own era could "liven" (no pun intended) the investigation. Let us know how it goes!

I haven't seen the movie either, but I think that it would be a great idea to play music similar to what they would have heard in life.

I dug my book out of the closet. I forgot that though I haven't seen the movie, I do have the book that was based on the movie. The Diary of Ellen Rimbauer was during the years of 1907- 1928. Was the movie set after Ellen Rimbauer lived at Rose Red? I'm going to see if I can find a website that says who did the music.

***well, I tried but I can't find a darn thing that says who did the music in the movie. I can only find reviews of the saying that the sound track is great. Maybe you can go to the video store and look at the covers of the vhs or dvd, it should say who did the music.

I was at work last night and a nurse told me the song is called In The Mood and it's by the Glenn Miller Band. The Character Annie Wheaton loves Glenn Miller's music. They find an old 78 and Annie makes the phonograph work and they dance.
This might work on my ghosts. I'll let you know.

Well, I had the investigation on January 10th. The results are on the pictures page. I guess it did help to play that music. I was shocked to see that face in that orb.
I think the next investigation will be around the end of February.
