I feel the need to spiritually clean my home,won't go into details right now,has anyone tried this?Does anyone have the details to do it correctly?Success story?

Yes Mare,please share your knowledge with me!!I've researched for about a month now and would love more details! Cedar is abundant here in the Midwest and I have alot of cotton string,but am in need of sweetgrass and sage.Trade or I would pay postage for these things.Details,details please on the exact way to smudge.I know i remove all metal from myself then smudge myself.Start at the front door,always going to the left--doing every room,closets,behind doors,in cabinet always going to the left,never crossing my own path until I have gone full circle through the house and back to the front door,leaving the front door open while smudging.then putting the ashes under a tree to show respect.But I'm sure more details are needed!Help is greatly appreciated!!thank again--blondie
