Here is another one

.
My family and I lived in 2742 Argyle rd in Mississauga, Ontario.
This is the same place I talked about in my "It follwed me home?" account.
South of the building there is a creek.
Going south past the creek is Floradale Public School. My younger brother attended school there from grade 3-6.
I had friends on Paisley rd and crossed this creek regurlarly.
I remember that I always felt spooked when walking thru a particular clearing.
Not so much if I followed the creek. I have earned many a happy memories playing there with my friends.
The path to Floradale Public School is west of the creek.
It is a big clearing.
When it was getting dark in the evenings, I would go the long way by the creek instead of crossing this clearing. You would think it to be spookier in the creek, instead of a clearing.
On with the story.....
On numerous occasions, something has tapped me on the shoulder or upper back.
I have even walked it with a friend and he thought I threw a pebble at him. He got tapped on the nogin.
Most of the time, regardless of the time of day, many precenses are felt there. I have run from them in the past. They start at me once I get about halfway into the clearing. There is NOOOO WAAAYYY that I went thru there at night! I should try it now that I'm 35, maybe go there with a tape recorder? My brother has a video camera.
If I remember correctly though, it would be extremely difficult to remain there once it starts, as it gets VERY intence. It got so bad in the past that I would litteraly almost start shaking.
On one particular day,I was walking home from a friends, when I noticed it had gotten dark.
What was I thinking? I swore to myself never to put myself in this perdicament!
And yes, I was standing right in the center of the clearing!
Was I tricked?
I remember thinking to myself..."ok, take it easy, you don't want to panic here. There are no such things as ghosts. You are just gonna spook yourself into a frenzy and have a stroke if you're not careful!"--Hah hah!
I started to walk forwards trying to imitate a confident swagger, when a series of gusts of wind swirld around me. They came mostly from behind me, some from the right and left, but they all converged on me.
"OK", I thought, "nothin' to worry about here....just the wind...".
It seemed that time slowed to a crawl.
The clearing went silent.
There was no longer any wind or breeze.
The hair on the back of my neck stood up.
I got a cold sweat.
Ok, I was in trouble now....
It felt like a time warp or something, it was like I time had stopped.
To my rear and to the right I saw what looked like men riding horses and to my rear and left it looked like people running at me.
This was similar but not identical to the apparition I witnessed at Fort Erie. In the sence that they were super imposed onto the background as if they were projected on glass pannels.
These were harder to discern, I could barely make them out. They were barely visible to me and would flicker in and out of view.
There were no sounds, even when I ran!
I ran home sooooo fast! ---Hah hah!
It's worth mentioning that my brother and I many years later when the topic of ghosts came up, he mentioned about the path to the school.
He said that he always ran past it as fast as he could, and he's NEVER been there when it got dark.
We had never discussed this before, so there was no way anything was suggested.
He had kept it silent as he thought people would think him crazy.
I found out later on from someone that there used to be an old indian burial ground there. The community had been built over it.
People in the suburb complexes have complained of ghosts near that area.
I would have to research this, but I think it would take alot of time. To me it's of no importance since I know what I experienced.
Even if there is no burial ground, I don't care.
I still don't want to go there as it is a very unpleasant area.
Hope you enjoyed a TRUE account!
