On the 22nd of this month, I will be going to Mississauga. I plan to go to a couple of places.
I have a digital camera that films and another that takes pics.
Photos are not a problem.
However I have to perchase a tape recorder. It would look knd of funny lugging my stereo around. [Laughing]
Does anyone know of what's the best recorder/type to use?
I don't want to spend too much!
Thanks in advance for your info! [Toothy Grin]

I just use a little hand held personal recorder that I bought from Wal Mart. Not the most expensive one, but not the cheapest either. The only thing I paid attention to was how long the batteries would last and the length of the tape that I was using was.

Hi BriJul.. welcome to SpiritKeep! [Smile]

Marcelo, you might also want one that has an external mic for recording. Using an external mic will cut down on static or internal recorder noises. [Toothy Grin]

Good luck!

Thanks! [Toothy Grin]
One more thing...
How can I tell if I picked up anything.
Do I need an audio editing program to pick up different frequencies, or do I just simply turn up the volume?

I think you can usually tell if you got something on playback, but an audio editing program can help to isolate & amplify the voice/noise.

Thanks for the welcome KellKell!

An external mic is definitely the way to go. I tried not using an external mic and all I got was a lot of static and very little audible data.

** Just seeing if I can fix the broken icon. [Wink]
