I'll have to mark that day on my calendar!! I've read the other 4 Harry Potter books. J.K. Rowling is a great author!
I wish I could get my kids this interested in the books. They liked the first movie though. I still need to see the second movie.

I just found out about harry potter book the other day. I'm just as excited as my kids are. It's really 1/3 longer then the last one. WOW now i really can't wait :banana: :banana: =)

Actually I can wait. I hate getting caught up in all the furvor over short supplies and great demands. In case there's too few.

I heard a rumor that JK Rowling let go that one of the characters dies in this book.
My guess it'll be Prof. Dumbledore. Since Richard Harris died (God bless him, great actor) she probably worked it into the plot that he dies. I think it work well in her ever escalating stories in size and complication. No one has truly died so far in the series.

Unfortunately I'm not sure that I'll be getting on on the 21st. Waaaaaaaaaaaaa! All the reserved copies are spoken for and the bookstores don't know if they'll be able to have any on the shelves. I have a midnight opening to go to at B&N to try and get one, if that doesn't work I'll be in line at Target because they're advertising that they will have in on Sat., though I don't think they know even remotely what they're getting into.

I also heard that a character will die in this one, about 3rd hand I heard that it's supposed to be a fan of Harry's and a main character. I thought perhaps a Creevey brother or Hagrid (I really hope it's not Hagrid). I do think that Dumbledore will die but not in this book. It will be necessary for him to die in the 7th because undoubtedly that will be the final showdown and the first that Harrry will have to face without his mentor.

I got it yesterday!!!!! I enjoyed it. We did have to go to Target to get it. I won't say anything about it yet, I don't want to spoil it for anyone but I did enjoy it very much.

YOU READ IT ALREADY!!!! It's over 800 pages.

One of my brothers had it reserved and got his copy. I waiting for him to finish and then I get to read it. I want to reread the goblet of fire first to get back in the mindset and pace of the books.
