Well, the Lady Godiva and I are back from Gold Country...
We stayed in some interesting B&Bs, both of them quite old, and I did get some...interesting pics.[/URL]
I'll tell more about them later, but I took all of the between midnight and 2 AM, with myself the only person awake in the building.
The most interesting pic is the "Thing above Door". The bar of light might be a reflection (I'm looking into it), but there is an interesting squiggle right next to it.

I was in Amador County...it's got Jackson, Sutter, and Amador, and is 45 minutes out of SF.
Gold County is a lot of fun to explore while looking for ghosts. When I was in Jamestown, I learned that every hotel in the downtown was supposed to be haunted, as was one of the coffee shops.
