I loved the Others. It's definately on of my favorits. The Haunting is another favorite of mine and even though it's not really a ghost movie I have to add The Exorcist. For a silly ghost movie I love Ghostbusters 2.

I really like ghost movies, but my favorites are the "Others" and "Watcher in the Woods" an early 80's UK film starring Bette Davis.

OOOHH! That's a tough one Ladyhawke.

I love ghost movies too.

Let's see, Stir of Echoes, The Sixth Sense, The Haunting(or haunted, the one with the woman who is followed by a nasty ghost, I think it's one of the scariest), Canterville Ghost (it's a good story but one in particular, made in the 70's had lots of British humor in it), The Changeling, The Frighteners was cool, The Ghost and Mrs Muir (the Gene Tierney version), Ghost (Swayze and Moore), and there was this Lady In White movie made in the late 70s early 80s that was really spooky but I can't find it anywhere,

And of course don't forget about Casper!!!!

I have no clue what the name of my favorite ghost movie is but I can tell ya about it [Wink] hehe. There is an older lady in this big ol house out in the country who contacts a paranormal investigators to rid her house of the ghosts in it. The man comes out and can't seem to find any ghosts or any evidence of paranormal activity... He speaks with the woman and her 2 nephews and niece and is becoming convinced the woman is crazy. Until he finds the grave of the abovementioned nephews and niece [Shock] Now I'm going to have to ponder on what the name of that movie is..... Miranda meandering off to ponder.........

Miranda, that does sound like a good one! My alltime favorite is Ghosts with Patrick Swayze (wiping the drool from the keyboard). I also liked Sixth Sense and The Others. I liked the Canterville Ghost and The Ghost and Mrs. Muir too. Oh, and don't forget the Ghost and Mr. Chicken!! I loved Don Knotts! [Laughing]
I know it wasn't a movie, but anyone remember the X-files Christmas episode with Ed Asner playing the cranky ghost and Mulder and Scully investigating the haunted house? I loved that episode and wish I had taped it!

I had forgotten about The Frighteners and The Changling. And the movie Lady In White, is that where some kids were killed and the killer threw a little girl off a cliff? And her mother is still looking for her? I have that movie on video. With Katherine Helmond? It's a great movie! (did you ever hear a dream talking, well I did)Cool song for that movie.
