What a bizarre dream I had.:confused:Sorry but this is long. I fell asleep in front of the T.V. at around 8:30 and woke up at 10:25 with a start and had the feeling that 'something wasn't right.' I looked around and everything looked alright so I went to bed. That is when the dream started. In my dream, I 'knew' that aliens (the little gray ones) were stalking me to 'abduct' me to do all sorts of medical tests on me. I lay in my bed in the dark praying to my Spirit guides and to The Archangel Rafael and the Archangel Michael (I am not a religous guy, but for some reason it occured to me to ask them)to protect me. At that time I noticed other people coming into the room who were in the same boat as me. They were being stalked to be abducted and they wanted to stay with me hoping for safety in numbers. I was all for this. I gave up my bed to some of the people and lay next to the patio door figuring that maybe I could somehow protect everyone else. We all lay there all over my room in sleeping bags and blankets praying as according to our various beliefs. I felt like this dream just kept spiraling downward. Normally I can wake myself up but for some reason this time I didn't even think to. Finally, I resigned myself to the fact that in order to save everyone else, I would go outside and if indeed there were aliens out there, that maybe they would be satisfied taking me and leaving the rest alone. As I was getting up off the floor, I woke up to the phone ringing. As soon as I woke up I got the feeling that someone had rung the phone as a way for me to get out of the dream. The caller ID read unavailable, but there was nobody on the line. Talk about relief. I looked at the clock and it read 1:07 am. I got up and something still didn't feel 'right' in my apartment. I got up and watched a movie in the living room and towards the end of it I felt this warmth envelope me and in my head a soft voice said, "It's alright now, you may return to bed." And I knew I was safe. I went back to bed without incident. Weird, huh?

Oh my goodness!! That was a bizarre dream. It would make a great X-Files episode. Who do you think woke you up and told you when it was ok to go back to bed? Did you sleep all right after that?

I have spent the entire day trying to figure out what happened last night and I am still not sure. Yes, after I went to bed the second time I slept great. Aside from waking up and being confused about the nights events, that is. I do not know who caused the phone to ring, but I believe that when I was given the 'all clear' to go to bed that it could have been either my Guides or (and like I said I'm not a religious guy, but the last year has me questioning my beliefs) possibly the Angel Raphael. I have spent the day looking up both Michael and Raphael and found out that Raphael is (any Catholics out there can correct me if I'm wrong)paired with The Virgin Mary in Heaven. I had a dream about a year ago in which the Mary told me that I was blessed. Also, Mary is the Patron Saint of Aviators and Raphael is the Angel who looks after Healers and doctors. Both are pursuits that have always obsessed me even though I never had the guts to pursue either one. I must have called upon Raphael because instinctively I knew I might be under his charge. As for Michael, he appears to be the top 'Fighter' for all that is good. If anybody has any other interpretations or even just some comments I would really love to hear them! [Smile]

That definately was a very creepy dream! I do know angels are considered to be our messengers and I believe they are all around us. I also believe that anything is possible, so maybe your guardian angel knew how frightened you were and was there to comfort and reassure you that night.

I don't know much about angels and all my knowledged about alien abduction comes from the X-Files. But I also believe that anything is possible. Are you going through anything in your life that is self sacraficing and creating some anxiety? I wonder because too me the dream seems to be about understanding and learning acceptance of your role as a protector. I was just reading a previous post of yours about the little girl in your dreams and the situation with your ex. Do you think that your dream might have something to do with that?

On a side note, in the X-Files it seemed that many of the abduction stories had the common denominator of either protecting some one or being protected.

I'm glad that some one was watching over you so that you could be comfortable falling asleep again. Perhaps you were told that everything was ok because you had recieved your message.

How is you Dad doing? I've been wondering.

Hi there! My Dad is doing well, thank you. He had a close call not long after I had my dream about the owls but because of that dream I was paying very close attention to him. It also helps to have a doctor who listens. I do still dream about the little girl from time to time, but after I talked to my ex and gave her the moral support she needed to (hopefully) put her life back together my girl seems to have found peace. I'm kind of wondering if this alien dream had something to do with the problem I have with authority figures. My whole life I have ran from authority. In the last year, however, I have been trying to overcome this tendancy even though a part of me was still having trouble. For some reason, after the alien dream I am much more relaxed and assertive around people. In the last year or so I have seen, felt, heard and known a lot of things that have really caused me to question my sanity and I want to thank you all for being here and giving me such awesome advice. Thank you! [Nanner Man]
