I met my husbands sister when she was in the hospital A week before she died, she had been sick for along time. I had never been to her house until after she had died when we went into her living room it was barely empty except for a few pieces of furniture. After we packed up her stuff and threw away the junk we locked up the house and left. Christmas that same year his younger sister gave us a camera and I did not know how to load the film so I went to a camera shop and had the sales clerk show me how to load the film. we had a party so I used the film on the party I have never had problems getting film developed but for some reason it took me 30 days to get the film back, when I did it freaked me out because the pictures were of his late sisters front room her tv ,books and it seemed that pictuers were took of certain Items. when we went to clean her house out there was no tv or tv stand in the front room I caint figurer out how I got those pictuers because like i said I have never been to her house prior to her death and the pictures were of her house like somebody was still living there the camera was new and the roll of film was new to, I know this sounds stupid but it really bothered me can someone give me an opion as to what they thank? i would be greatful

Hi Peggy, and welcome to SpiritKeep!! Nice to have you. =)

May I ask a question about your pictures first? I hope you don't mind.

Did you have any other rolls of film at your house, and maybe another roll that may have been taken at her house, maybe even before she passed away? Or, possibly a roll you had picked up at her house when you cleaned there after her death? Maybe two rolls got mixed up, and you accidentally developed the old one, instead of the one for your party?

We usually try to rule out anything that would be a normal, explainable cause for a picture or group of pictures, before we would want to start considering the paranormal possibilities. It is entirely possible that your pictures are paranormal in nature, but we have to rule out the simple possibilities first.

Let us know, and maybe we can figure this out. =)

I don't mind you asking, no because the film was a fresh roll and the other film was in disposialable cameras and all were from a party we had the other two films I got back 2 days later, and like I said the thrd roll of film it took me 30 days to get back and when I did get the film back there were pictures of his late sisters house and of the party so there was no way because it was the roll of film the camera store worker had put in and I purchased the film there. I hope that helps and if you need more information please feel free to contact me

This sounds very interesting. You mentioned that there were party pictures mixed in on that roll with picture from your sister-in-law's house?? WOW, now that is quite strange. What kinds of things were in the pictures? You said that some of them were of certain items in the house. Was the party a family get together? Maybe the spirit of your husband's sister wanted to let you know that she was there at the party with everyone else!

I'm having a semi-senior moment here but I think I got it straight:

You took three rolls of film at the party - two rolls with disposable cameras (which, when developed, came back to you in 2 days and contained pictures of the party) - and a third roll with your Christmas present camera (which, when developed, didn't come back to you for 30 days and only contained pictures of your deceased sister-in-law's home). AND, since that was a Chrismas present from your hubby's younger sister, that camera and film had never been in your deceased sister-in-law's home.

Am I right? If I am, this is truly amazing. Can anyone who knew how your sister-in-law's house looked give you a time line of some kind? Maybe other relatives can look at them and tell you approximately when her house looked like that - maybe it was from a happier time, a time she would prefer you all remember before she took ill.

Wow. I'm at a loss at trying to explain that one. That is amazing. I think that Connie's idea about getting a time line is a good one. I would also very much like to see the pics if that is possible. I wouldn't let it bother you, it might just by your late sister in-law's way of saying Hi from the spirit world.

Psychic photography though rare is not unheard of.
It sounds like you know for sure that the camera was never at your sisters house.
Please talk to your husband and anyone else who may have access to the camera and ask them to see if they borrowed your camera. Also, since you only visited your sister in-laws house once, are you sure the pictures are from her house. Have you asked your husband to take a look at them.

Please, we are not doubting that your pictures are paranormal in nature. To be sure though, you need to eliminate the normal possibilities.

It may have been your husband impressing the film with pictures or another relative at the party impressing images onto the film. More excitingly it may be your sister in-law impressing the film. She maybe trying to get a message of some sort to you. Something maybe to do with the house. Like something hidden in the house. [Eek!]

I was thinking about the psychic photography too, Nakis. [Wink]

Yes, please let us know what your husband has to say. =)
