I had a 1995 Plymouth Neon for a few years. It was a good little car.

Whenever something was going to be wrong with it, I would have a dream about it the night before. For example....if the battery was dead, I had a dream about it. The check engine light was on, I dreamt about it. Wipe Fluid empty....yup, I had a dream about it. So for some strange reason, I had a connection with this inantimate object.

Two years ago, I got a new car. Never have had any problems with it yet. Last Sunday, I had a dream the brakes went. Guess what happened when I pulled out of the drive way that morning. No brakes!

So, I was wondering if anyone else had any type of connection with manufatured products that are not living in any way?

Brijul, I would say that you have a psychic sense about events that will happen in the future. The fact that they seem to focus on your car is a reasonable thing, because it is something you rely on. Some psychics predict earthquakes, plane crashes, etc., while others are more focussed on people. It is wonderful that you are blessed with precognition like this, and I would say that you should give yourself all the opportunities you can to develop it. Is there any pattern as to how long before the event actually happens that you dream about these things? It is a good thing to keep a journal of your dreams like this, and then record if and when they actually come true. This can be helpful in improving your skills. =)

I can understand a connection with a machine, as I have a similar sense about engines and vehicles. While I don't dream about the problems, I often can sense problems that are less than obvious to others. The strangest part, though, was when we would go camping and 4-wheeling 2-3 times per year in rough terrain, miles and miles from any help, and before cell phones were being used. The vehicles were very good about never having any problems on the road, and usually had their breakdowns in our own driveway!! How is that for a 'thoughtful' inanimate object? I have a rapport with machinery, and I love working with it. I don't really understand it, but with a vehicle, I have been known to give it an occasional pat on the dash.... LOL Maybe that has an effect??? [Enthusiastic Nod]

Mare! [Laughing] I've always been like that with my car too. I don't have dreams about it or anything but I tend to treat them like living creatures. When I had to trade in my first old car I nearly cried! I felt so bad that I gave it a pat at the dealership and told it goodbye and that it had been a good car. I did the same thing with hubby's car even though he hated it. I told hubby that it wasn't the cars fault that it was put together badly. I never complain about my car if it's in hearing distance cause I'm afraid that it might get offended and break down. I've been like this ever since I was a kid and had to sleep with tons of stuffed animal in bed with me because I didn't want to hurt their feelings by choosing just one. I can't help it. =)

I think this is something I am going to try and develop more.

The dreams happen the night before the action does. So I will start keeping a journal, jot down the dreams. Maybe I can see what else it is I see before I actually see it. (If that made sense) [Wink]

LMAO, Renee.... I always get teary when we sell a car!

Brijul, I think I understand what you mean. You will have to tell us about the results of keeping a journal, after you have been doing it for a while. It is good to journal any dream you have, when you are trying to develop your psychic abilities, because a dream may take on a meaning later on that you didn't find significant at first. =) Have fun and good luck!

[Laughing] Renee!

That made sense, Brijul. That's a pretty close connection you've got with your car! A good thing, when you think about the day the brakes went out. [Wink]

I had a dream once that I was driving my truck the wrong way on a crowded service road to the freeway and I had no brakes. Not a pleasant dream! [Eek!] Luckily, thus far anyhow, it hasn't come to pass - but it couldn't hurt get my brakes checked.

HAHAHHAHA That is soo cute about our relationships with our vehicles. In our modern society we have emotions for our transportation. =)

I do have psychic impressions for my cars. I only dream about them on occassion. Mostly I just know what is going to happen. I kept getting the feeling I needed to replace my fuel pump. I let it go. It got more intense just before it died. 30 miles from home. I know when my oil needs changing. I can sense it from my motor.
It just comes to mind when things need to be fixed before they die.

Though most people who interpret dreams find that dreams about cars are actually about you. Your life or your body. What happens with your car in your dream relates to what happens in your body. Like most dreams of sex aren't about sex but other issues.

I had dreams of driving my car/truck that represented me feeling that my life was out of control. Imagine driving backwards without looking going down an embankment. AHHHHHHHHHH!!! [Eek!] I've had that more than once. =P

It's good that you do BriJul. It keeps you one step up on not getting stuck anywhere or in an accident. And it's good that you psychic ability is working good.
