I would like to share something with you that happened after my mother passed away 5 years ago.First of all, my mother was one of the most wonderful women I have ever known. I know everyone thinks they have a great mom,but mine was truely exceptional. She and I were more than mother and daughter. We were soulmates. Before she left{and that's how I think of it}we had all kinds of things happening. Alarms would go off by themselves,my washing machine went crazy one day,strange sounds in my home,the phone would ring and when I'd answer I heard only static, and many, many other things. She died suddenly of heart failure,after she and I spent the day together. I grieved very hard after she left and had a hard time with simple functions. If it had not been for the support of my husband,son, and one of the best friends in the world, I would not have made it. I had a dream one night,after not dreaming in months since her passing,about the sun. In my dream,I watched the sun,set and as it started to go below the horizon,it came through my living room window and sat on my coffee table.As I watched in amazement,the sun formed eyes, a nose,and a mouth. When the face was fully formed, the eyes opened and the mouth said,"The reason your mother wont leave,is because you wont let her go." After the sun said that,it's eyes closed for a moment and then it opened them again and repeated the same words. This happened three times before the sun disentigrated into dust. My question is,do you all think the dream was my mother or some other entity communicating with me through my dream? I would really love to know your opinions on this,please. This is something that's been on my mind for 5 years now. Let me know what ya'll think. Whitesburg Tanya

One more thing I need to add. After she passed, I would come home and find things out of place.My young son said he saw Nana in his room one night and she just smiled at him and went up through the ceiling.My husband and I would sit in a certain chair and would feel a drop of water fall on our arm and it was the size of a tear. I even tasted it once and it was salty. After the dream,these incidences slacked off,and gradually all but stopped. When I get stressed now, is the only time we have things happen any more. Wow! What an amazing story, Tanya. My guess as to your dream, would be that you were perhaps communicating with your spirit guide.
It does sound as if your mother's presence is with you. I know the drops of water are fairly common in paranormal occurences, I've experienced that myself firsthand.
I had a very close relationship with my father, and also had some odd things happen after his passing. I occasionally still feel his comforting presence with me. Isn't it amazing that love so strong never really fades away! =)

What an amazing dream! I'm with Carrie on this - I too think it may have been a spirit guide vs. your mother. Perhaps communicating the 'you need to let her go' to put you both at peace, since her death was so sudden and you felt she'd been ripped away from you. But remember, you two were so very close, she'll always be with you. ::hugs::

Sorry about your mother passing on from this life.
It may not have been your spirit guide but it sounds like definitely it was someone giving you the message.
By what you describe your mother loved very deeply. With you hurting so badly she probably doesn't want to continue on while you do.
So a spirit or your spiritguide came through in your dream to help you realize what you were doing and how it was affecting your mother.

It is wonderful that you have such a close bond to your mother. In this life such closeness is all too rare. God bless you both. =)

Hi Tonya, What an awesome story! It's been said that if you see a face in your dream.. it's the mirror of our souls. So it could very well be you telling "yourself" this in your dream. The sun? hmmm well, I believe that if you are seeing a sun, it could mean that it's a warm place, a good place. It could also mean sunlight..

Thank ya'll for your responses.Sometimes it helps you to understand things when you share them with others. I still feel Mom now and again. I hope part of being in Heaven is the ability to come visit when you want to. She and I used to talk about passing a lot and we made a deal. Whoever passed first would come back if they could to let the other know they could still come visit. I think Mom made good on the deal. Thanks again,and Shelley,YOU GO GIRL!!
