I had the most strange and the most real dream last night. In my dream I was somewhere, a house of some type although I can't say exactly where it was because I wasn't familar with it at all. There was a woman and a man there with me, but here's the kicker, they were both dead but they were up walking and talking to me!!! I'm not sure exactly what was going on but they were explaining something to me and at one point the man kissed me!! On the lips....now here's the really weird part, I remember the feel of his lips on mine, very cold, hard, dry and cracked... The feeling stayed with me all day. I'm one to have very vivid dreams but usually not this vivid. I'm also pretty good with dream anaylsis, usally I can figure out what my dreams mean to me, because after all we are the best at analyzing our own dream but this dream had no recognizable symbols to me Maybe I'm just finally cracking under all the pressure lol :banana:

Miranda, that is weird! Do you think it may have been some sort of communication? I've had a few dreams similar to this, so I'm anxious if anyone has some other interpretations. I'm just wondering if you may have been on the same "wavelength" and picked up a visitor. Doesn't sound like too great of a kiss...blech!!

Interesting sidenote to add to this weird dream, the same night I had this dream my friend's Mom died. I hadn't talked to him for awhile and yesterday after I posted this I got an email saying that his Mom had passed. Now I doubt the two have anything to do with each other but I thought it was worth mentioning. I had only met his mother a few times anyway.
I was thinking, as you mentioned Carrie, that maybe I had picked up on something while I was sleeping and maybe that accounts for the dream. The woman in the dream was more in the background talking and it was the man I saw the most. It's a sad state that they only men that are kissing me are dead ones!!!

Oh hon, I just think you're cracking under pressure. Kidding!! Well, yuk - dead kisses! Gives me a little shiver, as it reminds me of my 'dead are alive dream' I had last year, I think it was. Luckily, the dead in my dream weren't passing out kisses.

I know this is going some, but can you recall what the woman in your dream looked like and does it match how your friend's mom looked? Just curious about that. Sorry about her passing. =( Hope he's ok!

No dead kisses for you Kell?? You don't know what you are missing girl!! As for what the woman looked like, well this was just weird, it was kind of like a scene out of the 50's, the clothing style and all. I can't remember much about the woman other than she had dark hair and was wearing a dress like you'd see June Cleaver or somebody in. The man looked like he was dressed for a funeral, kinda ironic don't ya think?? lol As for my friend's Mom she would have been 80 this year and as I said I'd only met her a few times and by the time I did meet her she was already very sick so who knows, I've only known her as a grey haired lady in pj's. Very nice all the same, always called me Amanda hehe. As for my friend, he's doing really well with all this, his Mom was diagonised with cancer in 1983 and it's been a long hard road for her and she's finally at peace. Regarding her I am going to post in Ray of Light the story her Preacher told at the funeral today, it's just beautiful and I want to share =)

Miranda, do you remember the colors in your dreams? Sometimes when I can't pick out coherent symbols I'll remember a dominant color that can help me get a feeling for the interpretation. I did read somewhere that dreaming of death can symbolize change. Do you think that it might have to do with changes in your life?

I'm sorry that your friend has lost his mother, but I am glad that she has found peace.

The dominant color in my dream was gray, I just remember shades of gray and some black. I don't remember any real vibrant colors. It was almost like watching a tv show in black and white but I wasn't watching I was participating. Kinda weird. I am happy to report that I recieved no dead kisses last night in my dreams
